Bad Boys 3 - Trailer/Discussion

I wouldn't watch it if you paid me.

 

Were the first two good? I know people really liked them but at the same time I know people on this site have some weird hatred towards Will Smith.

 

Yeah, really wonder why that could be?

 

Both were pieces of shit.

The sequel just happened to be shittier.

 

I don't blame Will for the Bad Boys movies being shit.

I blame Michael Bay.

 

Theres certain silly movies that are still watchable today as adults. Bad Boys is not one of them.

 

Just to prove it's not an anti-Will thing, Independence Day is silly as fuck, but I can still watch it today.

I just don't find BB entertaining at all.

 

ID4 is only watchable because of Jeff Goldblum IMO. Without him, it'd be an unbearable movie.

 

I can’t agree with this. Because the original was so bad that I never watched the sequel I’m afraid I can’t agree with it. However, I assume it’s spot on.

I personally liked WWW a lot more than BB. Bad Boys is like the Mo Money of buddy cop movies.

 

They both look old and the less famous black guy looks fat and bloated.

 

No, really you have to go back 20 years for the last funny movie Martin was in... Life.

 

I agree with Anthony, RJ was funny although Cedric The Entertainer and Monique played a role in that. I didn’t even think Life was a straight comedy, but more a dramedy as the tone leaned more serious than comedic IMO.

All I remember from the first one is Tea Leoni looking smokin hot, even though skinny, in a tiny mini dress and the boys reacting in slow motion to an action scene. Of the second one I just don't remember anything except my reaction: BORING!

 

Wound up seeing this because the missus wanted to and I had nothing better to do. Besides I’ll go watch pretty much anything that gives me an excuse to eat that delicious Japanese caramel popcorn that I can’t find anywhere else.

Anyway the movie was on some Netflix, movie channel, watch it once kind of shit. Sitting there you would have swore it was directed by Michael Bay. You got lame jokes and one liners, predictable dialogue and over the top unrealistic action. Its a popcorn flick and I thoroughly enjoyed my popcorn, the movie was just ok. 5/10.

Last word on that popcorn. I’m getting old and can’t eat it like I used to. I ate half the missus’ small bucket then a large bucket for myself. The me from 2 or 3 years ago wouldn’t even flinch. Today I walked out the theater went to a public toilet and had to shit all that popcorn out before we even got to the car. I think I’ll have to start getting a medium bucket.

You Could Pair Them in a Movie, TV Show, Broadway Play, Radio Broadcast or Even a YouTube Video and They Would Gel Seamlessly...

I told a brother at work I wasn’t going to go see part three and he was like “why?” I said because I didn’t like the first one. He was shocked. Then I told him I never saw part two because of my dislike of part one. He was double shocked. I got the impression he wanted to take my black card and then he told me not to tell anyone else that.

 

Take my black card all you want, Bad Boys 1 was a piece of shit and II was even worse.

Is that Will and Martin's fault?

Not really.

Michael Bay is a cancer.

Martin's show was funny AF.

He was never ever ever funny in movies. In fact, only good movie Martin was ever in was Life... and Life was quality because of Eddie, not Martin.

 

He was Funny in the 1st Bad Boys...His Bad Boys Character was Essentially a Married, Cop Version of His TV Show Character...

I’m not going to say Martin wasn’t funny in any of his movies because I thought he was funny in most if not all of them except for Bad Boys. Will Smith was never funny in his movies other than the occasional cute one liners that any other action star can deliver with amusement. I like both guys but don’t like their chemistry together in these films. To me their chemistry and especially their comedy feels so forced and try hard, especially in the first film. It’s almost cringe worthy and I think that cringeworthyness is what I dislike about the franchise.
