i dont think highly of plant, but stylistically he seems like a bad matchup for alvarez. not that he'd get a rightful decision.

 

This is a good fight - very poor job of officiating. And the announcers were saying that Magdaleno was gonna get his ass kicked

 

Shit. Ramos lost almost every round then got the KO in the final round.

 

Two fights in a row this trio has called wrong saying the wrong guy was gonna get the shit beaten out of him. This is why I normally do not listen to commentary.

I don't think lowly of Plant, but I agree he's a bad matchup for Canelo. Canelo has proven to not be afraid of bad matchups.

 

I put Plant at least a solid level above guys like Spadafora and Malignaggi. He's more like the German white guys who have long reigns without being overly exciting.

 

Plant's last opponent was crap. This guy not much better. Why can't he fight a real guy?

 

This German can Na-zi Plant's punches coming.

 

Yeah, I didn't know this guy, but this fight isn't going to tell us anything new. After 2 rounds, it's pretty obvious that F Butz is not good enough to deal with Plant's advantages. Plant is going to look great and it doesn't mean much.

 

Plant hasn't fought anyone. Which is fine for a guy with 19 fights. But he's supposedly a champion and the announcers are sucking his dick furiously. Total sham.

 

To be fair, he was a heavy underdog going into the Uzcat fight, at a time when a great deal of us were calling Uzcat the best guy at 168 (I was one of the VERY FEW posters who picked Plant).

In hindsight, it's unfair to say Plant hasn't fought anybody.

 

FagiNButts is horrible.

 

I think in my mind if Plant stepped it up he would khtko Feighenbutts

 

Benavidez vs Plant is a tremendous matchup.

 

I used to call this Feigenbutz' early fights in Sauerland fight nights. He had a mean spirit and some punching power in hjm, which enabled him to whack out some total cans in style, but he can't really box.

He did hold a GBU world championship earlier though, a belt customized by his own manager

 

REED Would Favor Benavidez, but a Very Nice Contrast in Styles for Sure...
