That's fine. 10 years of shite.......people forget so easy. How these things came to pass..........I remember when Liverpool being bashed online and in the papers was such a daily happy thing. The NESV takeover was the final straw, established BBC men preying on peoples fears that Liverpool would wind up in the shit with no owners, made a Ward of Court or something, with the bailiffs in ripping the seats out.

So I was made up when this happened a few years later........

BBC's Dan Roan reprimanded after claiming Leicester City boss 'died with his mistress'

Great idea for the next few seasons:

Fans of every club hum the Champions League anthem when opposing Man City.

You jest but they might win it this year.

Right now Spurs in trouble and Valencia just grabbed a vital away goal........but it might be moot, as they are 4-1 down.

Indeed. The only stand-out club this season is Liverpool they're already in a hole.

Man City over anybody left including the traditional big clubs wouldn't be some monumental upset. It would really suck if they managed it though.

If they win it and the ban is upheld, then the moment they win it...........it could be "And the Holders are OUT".

And then on the opening day of the new PL season, everyone could hum the tune like you said.

I think the chants would have considerably more sting if they weren't defending champions at that point.

But they wouldn't be defending fuck all by then. They'd be reigning and NON DEFENDING champions ha ha get Buffer in to announce it.

Anyways, City probably won't win. Liverpool will turn over Defendico Madrid and then DO CITY over two legs, precipitating a massive outbreak of alopecia in Manchester.

I know what you mean but they could always comfort themselves as being champions and claim they are being "unfairly" not allowed to defend the title on the pitch. I like it as it is now without them or PSG yet having their name on the trophy. It's a shame that Chelsea aren't in the same boat.

I am no fan of the SW Rent Boys but Abramovich hasn't spent much money recently. Chelsea could theoretically win the CL but I don't think they will. Abraham is out injured now too and he's their best striker, which says a lot.

For one they were banned for two windows so that explains some of that lack of spending. Secondly that was the most disgraceful CL final performance ever seen. Third, they're still a club financed by an oligarch with plastic fans.

I thought Bayern fucked it up. Took Muller off. Chelsea didn't stop playing. Bayern did. In their own stadium.

You get their fans anywhere West of Chelsea, basically in commuter-belt places like Uxbridge, Staines, Richmond, Roehampton etc etc.

I remember two of them waiting for a Train on the platform in a place called Rayners Lane , a real nowhere place, I think its in the Borough of Hillingdon.

This was in the glory days for Chelsea, they had won the European Cup two years before and they were going into Chelsea for a mid week game.

"Mind the Gap" is a common sign around the stations and is periodically played out over the tannoy system on the platform. Here is an old example.

Anyways these fans were stood there when the tannoy played its message and they were "Yeah, mind the facking gap, Wenger, mind the facking gap, Premier League, innit...mind the facking gap hu huh huh..."

My wife and I always say “mind the gap!” in imitation of those London trains literally anytime we’ve ever been on a train

Thug sparked Glasgow mass brawl after knocking sausage supper from man's hands

Sausage supper attacker jailed for starting brawl at Glasgow Central

A THUG who started a mass brawl after knocking over a man’s sausage supper was jailed for eight months.

Youcef Boutoubane, 18, fought Andrew Graham, 36, under Glasgow’s Heileman’s Umbrella in July last year.

Further chaos was sparked when Mr Graham’s friends and random members of the public joined in the fight.'

Leipzig are a very good team. I don't give Spurs much chance of getting anything at their place.

Selection unusually difficult to predict tonight between various injuries and the fact we've been playing 3-5-2 domestically the last two months but will probably revert to 4-2-3-1. Or at least you'd normally expect us to except both our first choice full backs are out. Frimpong in? Away from home in europe? Cracking wee player going forward but the thought of him defending at this level makes me a bit nervous. It only takes one lapse. Maybe we'll just roll the dice with 3-5-2 and fire right in to them? Decisions!

If Atalanta win the Champions League they'll be the first side to become champions of Europe without ever having been champions of their own country.
