The Fact Wilder was Registering KO's is More Important to American Casual's Than the WBC Title Was...His Name was Built on the KO's Primarily, Not the Belt...American's Put Little if Any Stock in Fury's Lineal Claim as Well...

The Fact Is, There's FOOTAGE of Wilder Coming Dangerously Close to KO'ing Tyson Fury, as Well as Footage of Fury ACTUALLY Stopping Wilder...REED's Point Is, Interest in That Fight WON'T Wane in the Foreseeable Future...Wilder Wasn't Billed as "Invincible" as Much as He Was Touted as a "1 Hitter Quitter" to American Audiences...That Really Hasn't Changed...His Promoters have NEVER Hid Nor Danced Around His Flaws, it was His Punching Prowess Specifically That Was Lauded...

And Wilder BARELY Touched Fury in the RE, Certainly Not w/a FLUSH Right Hand...There'll Be Enough Idiots Buying Into the Lame Excuses to Maintain Interest in Wilder-Fury 3 in REED's Honest Opinion....

All REED is Saying is Exercising the Rematch Clause is More BALLSY Than it Is Financial...Wilder DOES Have the Option to Wipe His Ass w/1-2 Hapless, Barely Known Heavyweights, as He Readies Himself for the Fury-Joshua Winner...

Wilder and Ruiz are Both w/PBC as Well and Would Do Pretty Decent PPV #'s if/when Wilder was Unable to Secure a Date w/the Fury-Joshua Winner...

It's funny because Fury called McDermott "McMuffin" and all this sort of shit............there wasn't a drop of sweat on McDermott at the end of the first round and Fury looked like he just got out the sauna.

I guess we'll have to see. I heard Wilder-Fury II didn't break even, and I expect the third fight to do worse.

Regardless of his motive, do you think it's the right move? Or would you have rather he'd taken a couple of easy fights first to get some confidence back?

It Wasn't for Lack of Interest; the PPV Took a BEATING On the Illegal Streaming Side, Apparently...The Fight was Estimated and PROMOTED @ a Level to Generate 2mil PPV Buys, But it's Looking Like They'll Max Out @ About 850k...

REED Can't Recall ANY PPV Fight in Boxing History Being Talked About This Looooooooooooong, This Faaaaaaaaaaaaar AFTER the Fact, That ONLY Did 850k Buys...w/it Being an ESPN-FOX Joint Venture, REED Figured They'd Have All Kinds of Safeguards in Place Preventing Mass Illegal Streaming...

REED's HOPING Wilder Exercised the RE Clause to Entice Team Fury-Team Joshua to Offer Up Step Aside Money So They Can Meet Instead...And if That Ends Up Being the Case, Wilder Should Definitely Take It, Go Back to the Lab and @ Least Work on Getting More Mileage Out of his Left Hand...

Otherwise, He Loses the 3rd Fight to Fury as Well...

Wilder isnt gonna magically develop an effective jab or a dangerous hook in 4 months with a new trainer. Breland deserves credit for taking an uncoordinated kid like wilder and getting him as far as he did. Really haymon deserves the credit for the match making that kept wilder unbeaten this deep into his pro career

Wilder deserves credit too for persisting with his style rather than trying to re-imagine himself as a boxer, which he clearly is not.

What about the conspiracy theories that Fury’s gloves were tampered with??

This appears to be a thing on social media.

I agree. I expect all the media to completely write off Wilder, but I wont.

I could see Fury having a lapse and getting caught.

Like Gil Clancy used to say "This guy's dangerous when he's falling down!" Wilder needs to do something he never has, and that is go to the body on Fury.

Agreed, but when most boxer's fall in love with their power they never seem to be able to go back. For Wilder there is nothing to go back to.

It was pointed out that Fury's glove was hanging off his hand before.

I did post a photo showing Furys glove to be way too far off his hand, but it would have affected Fury more than Wilder, like when your shoes are too loose.

But surely Wilder got guys to inspect all that shit.

This is the photo I posted in different thread.

The only think I can think of is that the tape was loosened to allow him to move the glove off his hand, so he could punch through the thinner part of the glove. Then when the ref saw the tape was loose, they bandaged the tape, thus trapping Fury's hand in the thin part of the glove, allowing him to punch through that.

But I am not sure how that helped Fury, he's never had a left hook, the loose glove just acted like a scarf or something he could flick at Wilder, but not much more.

    Ideas?
