I'm pretty sure Pink Floyd's drummer, Nick Mason is as well. In the bridge of the song, "Learning To Fly" there is a part where you can hear someone giving instructions over a headset. It was apparently actual audio from Mason's flying lessons.
Didn't actually know that and I'm a Pink Floyd fan, I knew about the motor racing stuff but not the flying.
I think Mason does it as a hobby rather than a job though. Dickinson actually does it for work when he's not touring. He lives a couple of roads down from me, just wish I was an Iron Maiden fan, but I'm not, they're shit.
