He used to get beaten up sparring with Roy Jones. He nearly beat Larry Holmes, did beat Jeremy Williams but he suffered some sort of a head injury and slowly but surely faded out of contention, eventually losing to just about everybody he fought.

He's last fought in 2018........that's 17+ years after Jefferson basically ended his career. A lock for permanent brain damage.
