Yeah I did enjoy the citeh one but the Sunderland doc is very good.

A great insight to what a club can mean to it’s supprtors, especially for non sports people.
Sunderland is such a shit show off the field it makes for a great drama.

    Well worth a watch

As for Liverpool, the big city parade is not happening no mater what. That’s a real shame

Corona is here to stay and the competition’s need to work around it. The league must finish none of this void or ppg nonsense

I've just been out on the street in West London.

    It's jammers.

Nobody is buying this fucking shit anymore.

    I've seen every demographic out.

Fat black guy stood outside the Kebab shop. Cyclists in lycra. Moms and kids. Guys in Dickies pants and hoodies, clearly working in construction, out buying their lunch. Myself, going to buy the Times......

People have had it. They aren't going to go and go bust quietly.....an entire nation reduced to sequestered domiciled quivering sheep at the insistence of a Government who "listened to the science" and a newspaper set whose own livelihoods are not at all at risk. Fintan O'Toole. That sort. Go and jog right on lads.

Simon Jenkins did a bit in the Guardian yesterday about how the lockdown is sham in it's inception and in its effect and its operation. Two lads on a bench being hassled by the cops....walkers in desolate countryside stalked by Police Drones.

The disease has largely followed the same routine every where it was . The only variable has been numbers and Asians who fall over at the first sight of it. It's degenerated in England into a whipping hand for the usual outrage-mongers and now, today, right now, there's "Proud Boys" sorts out in the street giving it large like it was Milwall vs West Ham in 1990.

Game over. Back to work. The only 19 cunts need to worry about is Title #19. LFC are a virus. Neville we are coming for your MOM!!!

I think it will happen. I think we're on the edge now of the biggest and perhaps politest display of civil disobedience since 25 million people declined to watch Princess Di's funeral on telly and told the other 25m to cop the fuck on.

The Japanese league announced back in March that no matter what happens, they won't relegate any clubs this season. But will still promote from J-2 & J-3. So next season, J-1 will have 20 clubs instead of 18. And J-3 will play with two less clubs.

We have managed the situation OK here in Ireland. The gards are beginning to piss people off, setting up checkpoints around my area where the majority of people are following the rules. That is far from the case in other areas

On Friday Leo announced the master plan to re-open. Construction, outdoor works etc will resume on May 18th with more businesses opening every two weeks [ all going well ] Shopping centres , pubs, etc wont open until August.
No doubt the timeline is from the WHO, the UK will probably follow suit

Anywho - the fitba will resume. It must!

Yeah similar plans being mooted in Scotland & they seem like a pretty good ad hoc solution. They have an added benefit here that they resolve the absurdity baked into the current 'split' system whereby teams can and usually do either a) end up playing more total home or away games or b) end up playing certain other teams in the top 6 three times home vs once away or vice versa. Obviously thats always jimmied so Celtic & Rangers always play home/away twice with other fixtures pretzle'd around that. Crazy set up.

Iirc, to get celtic 19 home games we wouldve had to finish the season with 5 consecutive games at CP....but that would've meant us playing every team in the top 6bar rangers 3x at home! Wouldnt really matter this time given how far ahead we were but imagine its next year, there's one point in it and we're going for the ten! Clyde's1s phonelines would melt through their cables

    :Jest:

    They lines wid go nuts.

This season, up until the stop, wiz morbidly remeniscent o' last season. Rangers were right up there, in contention, and then Celtic put on the gas and 'Gers turned tae jelly. Anyhoo, Ah've no problem wi' the result this season but next season's gonnae be bigger than the Indy 500 AND the Kentucky Derby on the same day!

Yeah I just hope we get to enjoy it. And i secretly hope Rangers come out strong and push the thing to a final cosmic judgement day....my fitbaw fandom is just one of a junky chasing the big, electric ocassions, they're way more important to me than final results

Ooh, top tip thanks. I think supermarkets usually source beer differently across regions so im not sure it'll be here but i'll check. What they did have here last week was loch lomond silkie stout which is top dolla. Tesco also do inveralmond's 'lia fail' amber ale up here which would def make my verse of 'a few of my favourite things'
