I'm more inclined to think it could be the other way around. Ortiz doesn't strike me as the kind of speedy and elusive boxer that's troubled Arguello in other fights. I think he'd have to fight more aggressively and possibly take it to Arguello on the inside, which is a daunting task even up at 135.
Speedy and elusive, no. But Ortiz was the better, more fluid boxer at range, and had a better jab. On the inside, Arguello would seem to have the edge, but even that isn't clear because Ortiz was a great infighter, and he was physically stronger than Arguello.
