JOM literally said above that Arguello regularly struggled and landed a fight-turning “shot from nowhere” ... it was “his thing”

    That’s a terrible take ... terrible

Well yeah, the 'nowhere' expression is definitely wrong, I just didn't read much into it. Arguello was very patient and methodical and never got desperate.

The Canadian made him out to be David Tua.

Arguello used to say himself that going into a round he was looking to land 1-2 good shots.

These two bozos are trying to make a scandal out of nowhere. What i meant by that is that arguello had the skills and power to land a fight turning punch in a close one or in a fight he was losing. It was out of nowhere in the sense that you wouldn't think that such a close fight could change so promptly. But then we're talking with an imbecile who tought Arguello dominated chacon

Would be great, yore an ass clown that brings nothing to this forum. Your pathetic fights predictions are a testament of that

Youre showing your idiocy as always. Gannigan was winning before the 3rd round kd, which changed the dynamic of the fight. Nobody said arguello was a gatti or a saad. But when you're a try hard loser, i guess that's your fun

Xplosive is cool and I'd hate it if he went away, even though we seem to disagree about most things in boxing and basketball

The best JOM trait is his immediate self-own double downs where he restates his bad take by denying that he’s having the bad take in the first place

Ruben had a very small window after he won the bantamweight title where he was not a raging drunk and he drank in camp. His only shot is a lucky punch get Gomez into switching hooks with him. Bazooka was too good an athlete and too skilled and strong to sucker punch out and he stops Ruben in about 6 or 7.

Yeah, anything else is fair play. Shit, call me the n-word for all I give a fuck - Boss does and I just ignore it.

But calling a father a pedo is kinda out of bounds.

Just as much as it has been made a case that Zarate wasn't at 100% peak condition for Gomez, the same has been established about Gomez for his Sanchez bout. Heck, the same day of the fight he had to put on a polyester sweatshirt & pants and run a few miles at noon under the punishing Las Vegas sun because the fucker, who struggled for years to make the 122lbs limit, was not making the 126lbs weight either. Gomez didn't trained properly for Sanchez, took him lightly and was partying and doing drugs when he was supposed to be training methodically. Even his former manager, Yamil Chade, betted against him knowing full well that Wilfredo wasn't training for Sanchez.
