I was rewatching Morales' fight with Famoso and noticed Famoso was able to withstand all of Morales' cleanest and hardest shots.

Clearly, Morales is the better fighter. But at 130, it's debatable. Who do you pick?

Frietas was very fast and explosive at 130 - therefore dangerous to Morales. But I have to believe that class would be the difference.

Morales' shorter, more precise punches should win the fight. And there's also the intangibles - Morales had a will to win that Frietas lacked.

Agreed. If you showed people a short highlight film of both guys without any context Freitas might appear the better, more polished boxer.

The reality is Morales was warrior and Acelino wasn't good enough to navigate a tactical approach for a full fight against "El Terrible" who would find a way to force it.
