Who wins? On hand Pavlik had much better technical skills and a better chin. On the other hand Benn was a more explosive puncher with faster hands. I don't think Pavlik could afford to eat Benn's power shots the way he did with Miranda.
I don't see how the outcome is inevitable. I'd make Pavlik the favorite, but given that Kelly was hardly a defensive wiz, and Benn was a frightening puncher at middleweight, I'd say Benn is a very live dog.
I don't mean inevitable in the absolute sense, of course a guy with Benn's power has a chance against almost everyone and he would probably beat Pavlik 1 or 2 out of 10. What I mean is, in most cases the fight goes pretty much the same way, fireworks early and Pavlik takes over more and more clearly as the fight progresses
