In September. Jermell fights Jaison Rosario in the co-feature. This would be a helluva double-header if it was regular Showtime, but of course in the midst of a depression the boxing powers that be thinks it's a GREAT IDEA to put this on PPV...
So: Jermell 'Iron Man' Charlo vs Jeison 'Banana' Rosario, then? No idea who this 'The Technician' is...or maybe it's because you just like using that term...
the technician is gonna beat the shit outta charlo just like he did golovkin. charlo should whip Jeison Manuel 'Banana' Rosario Bastardo
I have a feeling Jermall is gonna beat the Technician. Though I hope I'm wrong. Jermell will beat up Chumpo Rosario.
Pretty sure charlo eventually blast him out. Think he has too much speed and power and hes bound to catch dere with something huge
Yeah, Charlo isn't anything great, but he has a youth and explosiveness about him that an almost 40-year-old Golovkin no longer has.
I love the sport. I hate the business. I also hate the retarded decisions. "Yeah, let's put two fighters with zero mainstream presence in their first PPV at a time when millions of people are out of work. I'm sure that'll go well, let's do it!"
Tell me about it. Most casual fans have never heard of either guy yet it's a PPV? I guess they're hoping people are so starved for live boxing that they'll pay. Unless it's a stacked card i don't see too many boxing fans paying for it, let alone the casuals.
Davis vs. Santa Cruz is also going to be PPV which is ridiculous imo. I doubt that fight will even be competitive.
Yep... Like REED Said, These are 2 LOSABLE Fights for the Charlo's and the Undercard is Pretty Stacked w/Name Fighters... Derevyanchenko Should Be THE Toughest Opponent Jermall's Ever Faced and Jermell is Attempting to Unify 3/4th's of his Division Against Probably THE Hardest Puncher he's Ever Faced...Then You Sprinkle In Danny Roman, Mario Barrios, Diego Magdaleno and Brandon Figueroa in Separate Bouts???... As a PACKAGE Deal, that's Certainly PPV Worthy by Today's Standards... REED
agREED on This NOT Being PPV Worthy... Jermall-Derevyanchenko and Jermell-Rosario are BOTH Better, More Competitive Fights than Tank-Santa Cruz...PBC's Banking on Tank's "Badboy" Image and Leo's Latin Following, But They'd Better Make that Undercard Appealing... REED
i dont like the rosario fight that much. he still seems mediocre. but i do love the main event and it seems like a true pick em as far as who will actually win, even if the deck may be stacked against derevyanchenko. there are some other guys on the undercard worth watching even if they arent matched tough. more of a case of an excuse to gather with some fight fans i aint seen in a minute than actually being a worthwhile ppv
Rosario Couldn't Breathe Bruh... Surely You Saw him Gasping for Air on the Canvas???...agREED It Wasn't the Most IMPRESSIVE KO, Per Se, But Rosario LEGIT Had the Wind Stabbed Out of Him, in REED's Opinion... Can't Breathe? Can't Fight... REED
Yeah he didn't look good and i'm not questioning the legitimacy of it but has a fighter ever been stopped from a jab to the body? There's been plenty of cases of guys getting dropped by a jab, but KO'd?
I have seen them happen, though not on this level. I suppose if it sinks deep enough it can take your breath away like any other body shot
