WBC considering a 225 lbs division

The only thing boxing might need more than a new sanctioning body is this, a new weight division.

Wonder if somebody there thinks that 220 lbs guys were too small to compete, or is it just an excuse to create more titles

But look, there's guys out there who can't make 200 and who will never be 250 either.

We just saw a 225lb heavyweight with a reputation for KO'g guys get RAGDOLLED by Fury,

 

Wilder's size ain't what got him beat against Fury.

Deontay Wilder can't fuckin fight a lack.

All the great heavyweights in history with the exception of Lummox were under 225.

 

Well if you weigh 225 or less and you can't fight but can punch then isn't fights against other 225lbrs where you need to be?

As opposed to fighting other 270lbrs

 

Pretty stupid. Boxing is not mma. (It wishes it was) Size advantage hardly comes into play other than in clinching. They should come down on clinching instead of creating different weight class. But ya it's just about money anyway.

 

Come on. Look at the Adamek fight. Size hardly came into play . There were no clinches.
