Some candidates that come to mind:

    Marciano-Walcott
    Lewis-Rachman II
    Hearns-Duran
    Hearns-Cuevas
    Jackson-Graham
    Arguello-Rooney
Valdez-Briscoe: This one is a sleeper. Awesome right hand KO by Valdez.

I guess because of how iconic it is, Marciano-Walcott is the winner. I think it's the winner, and should rightfully be considered the GOAT right hand KO.

For pure beauty, I like Arguell0-Rooney. Just picture perfect.

Mannn Arguello-Rooney really was a fuckin awesome KO. Alexis' right hand was poetry.

I was sad watching this fight, we all knew Tyson was done and had been for years, but seeing him so lacklustre and just waiting for him to totally gas and go down, then bang Botha was wrecked. proper one punch KO.

Of the shots listed I'd give it to Marciano. Title fight, quality opponent, difficult circumstances, devastating effect.

Guy had been dropped, was losing, was cut and was fighting somebody who knew the 15 round distance, was a great defensive fighter and not prone to getting careless and had a good chin.

Unlike Lewis vs Rahman, there was no dressing on the right hand, and Walcott was out long before Marciano even threw the cuffing left hook.

OH I AGREE, just saying how funny it is that Mike was finished in 1995 but got a title shot or three, was finished after the ear, but got a route back {Mikes licence hearing in Nevada was unbelievably cringey shit} then they feed him Botha, he should have been SLUNG OUT but he finds a way against a top 15 fighter to get the KO and then loses his mind and self control vs Saverese and then he gets a title shot in Louisiana even though his behaviour barely warranted it.

Mike did alright for a guy who just wouldn't play by the fucking rules. lol

Due to his early career he would always sell tickets/ PPVs, hell even just before the Lewis fight I had deluded myself into thinking he had a chance, even though he'd admitted he was only fighting for the money.

I think we all just wanted to see the 80s Mike once more, the unstoppable machine that was incredible to watch.

Yep gave him the first round then after that he was a punching bag, Lewis was still very careful though and softened him up for many rounds before finally taking him down.

Jackson-Powell. The hardest single shot in boxing history p4p? The way that head snaps is a good advert for banning this sport. Tyson-Johnson also worth mention. Johnson's nose got more fucked up than the other MJ.

I have a theory that Jackson ruined Norris' chin.

It's possible that Terry's chin wasn't bad before the Jackson KO, and Julian forever put a dent in it that made Terry vulnerable.

    JOM is right.

The hook was merely a set up. It was a one punch right hand KO.

Yeah, in theory, being whacked in the head by Julian Jackson might cause permanent neurological damage. :Jest:

This doesn't need a Will Smith movie to get to the bottom of it either.

Terry always had that "thin" looking skull/face. He didn't have that dome like Hagler or Eubank or a massive caveman head like Vitali.

    OK then......you're right.

I'd give it #2 slot behind Marciano because Rahman was never a defensive master like Walcott and because Rahman fought an awful rematch, with his hands out in front of him like a robot who'd never boxed.
