Miguel Berchelt tested positive for rona and is out of his December fight with Oscar Valdez - which is disappointing, I was looking forward to it. But Shakur Stevenson has offered to step in and fight Valdez. No word yet on Valdez accepting, but id bet the house on Stevenson beating the shit outta Valdez
Valdez was losing either way, but he's likely even less competitive with Shakur than he would have been with Berchelt.
Wouldn't Make a LICK of Sense from Valdez's Perspective... Spent Half of Camp (or More) On an Aggressive, Come Forward Guy Like Berchelt...Shakur's Anything BUT That...Valdez Will Be Criticized, But It's About Being SMART, Not SCARED... That Said, Shakur Would BEAT Valdez in REED's Opinion...It's Gonna Take an AGGRESSIVE, Berchelt Type or a TALLER, RANGY "Boxer" Type to Beat Shakur... REED
To make it more simple - it would take either Loma or Davis to beat Shakur. I don't think Valdez nor Berchelt could do it.
