At over 40, Pac and his team now take on fights they know are winnable.

They knew that an inactive Keith Thurman was a winnable matchup.

Pac's not gonna fight Bud.

Make Crawford-Spence for Christ sake.

 

I don't think it will happen either but that's the fight Crawford wants most for obvious reasons. Arum will probably promise Bud that matchup so he resigns.

 

Manny isn't with Top Rank so Arum can't promise Terence anything.

Kell knocked himself out. Ran into a power jab, doubled the force of the shot. Didn't see it coming.

Need to see where Spence is after the Garcia fight. It's by no means a gimme. I don't have anything against Danny but I want Danny to take an ass kicking because of his dad.

Crawford has to go to PBC to get the Spence fight. When/if that happens I don't want to see or hear any Porter or Thurman talk. Let those two fight each other again. I don't care about either. Spence and Crawford (providing Spence wins) is the fight.

How do you beat Bud? I doubt anyone will outbox him because he adapts too well. You'll have to knock him out clean to beat him. Hurt him so bad he can't recover and gets the Hearns vs Leonard I wobbly legs. To me 147 is his optimal weight, if he goes up again it'll be diminishing returns. That's why the Spence fight is so intriguing.

 

Not that Garcia is Julian Jackson but he can punch. Pre-accident i doubt anybody figured he would have much issue with Danny's power. Now it's a question mark. Even if Spence suffered no actual neurological damage, he might react differently now after getting hit than he would have previously. If he's gun shy that won't bode well against Garcia, let alone Crawford.

 

Not surprised at how the fight between Brook and Crawford played out. Brook reacted like a damaged goods guy and it was a mercy stoppage. If he had made it to the end of the round he'd have been pulled out. It had 4 rounds written all over it and played out that way. Brook got hit by a jab and went haywire. He's through.
