You're all are fucking dumb as shit if you think this will even as much as resemble a real fight. There is no judges and hard punches are disallowed. On top of which Mike is 55 and Roy is 50. It's one thing to throw a 5 second combo online but completely different to actually fight 8 two minute rounds. If Mike actually tries to fight he will be gassed in 30 seconds and will DEFINITELY injure himself throwing a punch or break a hip or something. He's almost 60 fucking years old! If this was a real fight roy beats the shit out of him and stops him in 2 rounds. Roy actually was semi active in the recent years. Mike hasn't done shit and has ZERO left. TRUST ME. This will end up being a slow paced sparring session with them throwing couple shots for real to justify the 49.99 price tag but don't get it twisted this by no means a real fight. I'm sure both Roy and Mike agreed to go easy. Both will hug in the end and collect a pay day and everyone will be pissed because they're too fucking stupid to realize what this is...


I still think Mike will injure himself .. at 55 it doesn't take much to break something

Roy wins an uneventful fight, as you would expect from a 51 year old and a 54 year old who hasn’t fought in 15 years (and was a sad shell of himself back then).

Exhibitions doesn't have any set parameters though so it can mean anything. It can be fought the same as a regular fight, or it can mean fooling around with zero punches thrown

 

Mike and Roy are friends, and they're both old men who no longer have the killer instinct to seriously try to hurt eachother, and probably more importantly, they're too old to do real damage even if they wanted.

But theres just no want/desire. Mike is clearly just selling the fight - he knows damn well that its just a charity exhibition in which he and Roy will go out there and spar.

According to the rules the referee has a special right to stop the fight if it "exceeds the limits of an exhibition" or something. I'd interpret it so that they will stop it easily if someone is under heavy pressure.

The press seems to read the rule so that KOs are completely disallowed, but likewise I don't understand how such rule could be obeyed.

I do believe nobody will actually try to hurt anyone in this "bout" but that's a different matter

 

Mike had an exhibition against corey sanders 15 years ago. He look like complete shit 15 years ago. Now at 55 people think Mike of 88 is coming back. Idiots.

 

There will be a lot of pissed people after this "fight" and the mother fuckers who put it together will deserve what's coming to them for promoting it and pricing it as a real fight.
