    This should happen next weekend.

Not an exciting fight by any stretch of imagination, but I'm interested to see how Joshua looks. Has he been able to develop the style he used against Ruiz the second time, or is it same old - same old.

Early on his pro career Joshua was able to learn things fast, and if the Ruiz I disaster was a result of illness as reported, AJ might still be the second best of the division

I cannot express how much I don't give a shit about watching AJ fight unless the opponent is Fury or Wilder.

Zero interest whatsoever in this fight.

I'm looking forward to Canelo-Smith in 2 weeks.

I'm actually looking forward to this. Unless Pulev is completely shot, I think he had a legit chance to win.

    This...

Despite Avenging the Loss to Ruiz, Joshua's AURA Is Gone Forever...Boxing Will NEVER Escape the Mental Image of Short, Fat, Bad Built Andy Ruiz Wiping His Ass w/Joshua and his SCULPTED Physique...

A Successful Career is Still WELL Within Joshua's Grasp, But to the Degree He Struck FEAR Into Opponents, That Ship Has Sailed...

REED Fully Expects Pulev (and ALL Joshua Opponents Thereafter) to Start the Fight AGGRESSIVELY and Test Those Glass Temples of AJ's...In That Sense, Joshua's EARNING His Respect All Over Again...

He has gone unbeaten for six years and beaten Chisora and Hughie Fury during that time, and he has only lost to Wlad.

So even though he isn't the most deserving guy out there, he isn't an unusually poor opponent either, especially when you consider that this isn't a championship fight

Beyond that what was worse is how relieved and almost happy he seemed when the fight was over. Some times it's not your night, but you do everything you can to turn it around. This is prize fighting, not team sports where you might face off again 5 more time in the same year where it's easier to accept writing it off.

I think having a a glossy undefeated record gets too much hype, but not all losses are equal either.

You guys are overrating the extent of aj defeat to pillsbury man. He seemed on his way to ko hin and he got caught with a bomb and never recovered. Was pretty much a fluke and im no aj fan

Nobody Likes a SORE LOSER, But That's Better Than Being a GLEEFUL Ass LOSER in REED's Opinion...Losing Is SUPPOSED to Hurt, It's SUPPOSED to Suck...Unless You're Simply a LOSER, That Is...

The WAY Joshua Composed Himself in the Immediate Ruiz I Aftermath was "Strange" to Say the Least...

If he did in fact fight sick as claimed, then I can somewhat understand the feel of relief

And? Nobody is claiming aj is an indestructible juggernaut. But against ruiz, he went in for the kill and ate a left hook from wich he could never recover. Probably was concussed from it. As i said before, no AJ fan, but he showed before that he could come back from adversity

Joshua is getting down on weight. It suggests we will see more of the hopping we saw in Ruiz II

But You Called the 1st Ruiz Fight a “Fluke”...When a Guy Loses a Fight Getting Punched and Hurt in the Very Same Spot He’s Been Punched and Hurt Previously, HOW Is That a Fluke???...

Fuuuuuurthermore, WHY Did Joshua Fight Like Wlad Klit 2.0 in the Rematch, If the 1st Fight was a Fluke???

Was a fluke cause he got caught while going for the kill, and he never recovered after that. I think if they fought 10 times, ruiz wins one or two max. Why did he fought like this?, who knows, probably his confidence was a bit affected, a defeat in the re would pretty much have killed his career, so he might have decided to win this time and look good the next.

    Exactly.
Is Joshua the goods? Probably is since the division absolutely sucks.
Gerry Cooney,..who was/is overrated would probably be the champ today.
Bert Cooper early in his career would probably have a belt!

It was a total fluke simply because Joshua overlooked Ruiz because of his ridiculous physique.

This marku guy reminds me of a slower less dynamic lemieux..dont think hes going anywhere.

Looked very average against a guy whos main claim to fame is doing a few years in the slammer (sounded like something out of an early ufc. Hoo this guy is so tough, hes a former prisoner)

It was a total fluke because Ruiz had not yet reached a weight where his already eroded skills were totally defunct and accordingly he was able to hit Joshua back and this was not in the script. The fluke was avoided in the rematch by Ruiz being

    * an asshole who dumped his trainers as they had notions about 300lbs not being an ideal weight for him
    *really really fat and slow
*Joshua coming off the gear and avoiding firefights
    *staging the fight in Arabia.

So, yeah, Fluke. Fucking some fluke it needed major adjustments to avoid a repeat.

This Pulev farce is going to be just that. A farce. Pulev was wasted by Wlad when he had a bit left. He's done very very little of any merit since.

It's also going to be a total BLM fest as the corporate sponsors and associated cunts go into overdrive to try and brainwash the public some more.

Pulev has, or had, a jab and a bit of balls. He's not in the shape he was for the Wlad fight. That was 4-5 years ago.

Joshua will play it safe then take his head off later.

It was a fluke because Ruiz hit him back and this was not supposed to happen. It was one of the most predictable things that could happen and yet it was a fluke when it did.

HIT IN THE HEAD IN A FIGHT.

What isn't mentioned is that he went into the ring a bit wrong having arrived in the USA to fight Miller and then had the late opponent change. When Vitali lost to Byrd he went into the ring injured against the late replacement and the original opponent was Razor Ruddock.

AJ had almost certainly been dropped or smashed in sparring in the buildup. He was smiling because it was over and he'd not suffered lasting damage.

Pulev, at least what I saw of him vs Wlad, has long arms and an ability to "touch" people with them. I don't think Joshua is really as offensively talented as Wlad and Wlad was hitting Pulev with absolute highlight reel stuff trying to end him. I really believe that Joshua's plan is to go out there, bounce around like a March hare, "DOMINATE" the rounds with his jab and finally take a tiring Pulev out.

I think this will be marketed as an "Improving, Maturing" AJ, a "Man who has learned to box within hisself, innit....no longer the raw and unpolished phenomenon we saw come out the Olympics, innit"

I don't think Pulev can win as he's not an offensive fighter and he's a standup boxer at that. He'll do OK for a round or two and then he'll start blowing out his hole.
