    No worries. He's on Eastside. I'll DM him on there. I meant to recruit him on my initial post to guys like George, and Tin, but may have forgotten him.

    Eastside's classic section was damn good about two years ago, but there's been a heavy influx of borderline casual trolls in the last few months.

    Once every good poster from there has come here (and I'm trying for it) I might abandon ship over there.

    To my knowledge, nobody ran him off this time. I don't recall any major altercations. He had returned for maybe a month or two, then just disappeared again.

    The last time I recall talking to was when we debated Duran vs Monzon as the greatest Latin fighter ever. I think he disappeared maybe like a week after, I dunno why.

    He can always come again as long as he doesn't get hostile.

    Someone reach out to McDogg and let him know Fightbeat is back.

    And dare I say, Stafford is always welcome back too. But it seems like he is in fact gone forever, and I'm not surprised.

    In the S/O days, Sly was a boxing fan.

    But in the last few years before retiring on here, he was strictly a Floyd fan. With Floyd gone, I don't think he has a reason to post.

    I’m glad xplosive is doing well. Reed recommending him has really been a blessing. I have really lost interest in boxing since long before even Steve Dave left. When Steve-Dave was here, he was the boxing mod. When he left, I ended up being the admin for the whole site. Well I hardly came in this section unless it was a big fight or someone complained. So X taking over this section works out well. He is passionate about the sport which will make him passionate about this section. Very good job X. And thank you Reed for recommending him for the help.

    Xplosive, have you thought about inviting scartissue and greynotsoold? Scar always posts quality scorecards and also some analysis in other threads, and Grey is great at fighter analysis and is very, very knowledgeable about east coast boxing and 70s/80s in general. Scar in particular could keep a scorecard thread trucking along consistently.

    By ALL means, invite them! When you do, just tell them if possible to register under their ESB usernames, so I can give the heads up to the admin to verify them.

    My goal at this point is bring all the best from ESB over to here, where we can control trolling and it's not oversaturated with threads and idiots.
