I used to be really big on GGG, but now I've really gone off him. The current poor opponent selection and the talk that never materializes is very frustrating. The interview where he states he'll kill DLH is particularly embarrassing. I've also noticed that, for someone with a cast iron jaw, he doesn't face many devastating punchers, either, if he doesn't have to.

I know he had it shit with the constant ducking around the Sturm period, but there isn't really an excuse from 2016 and later when he was getting big backing on HBO.

Agreed. I can't do what some of the others do anymore - watching every single current event. Only the good ones that interest me are worth it IMO. I could be watching a classic or doing something else.

 

Me too i used to be a big GGG fan. Turned on him when he started acting like a diva and pretending the champs at 168 werent good enough for him (while he was facing horrible oppositions)
