I think Williams is too strong and overwhelms Rossman at some point.

I normally don't like to be so dismissive of a fighter's big win, but I can't convince myself that Rossman was anything other than a mediocre (and naturally undersized) LHW who was fortunate enough to share the ring with a completely listless Galindez.

Listless Galindez or not, an ordinary fighter wouldn't have won that night.

Rossman was well schooled, had a big right hand, good technique, and threw very compact combos.

He showed that not only against Galindez, but previously against Mike Quarry.

Galindez needed an hour at the weigh-in to make weight, and he looked weary after just 5 rounds. I think a lot of just decent LHWs would've had a shot at beating him on that night.

As for Rossman, he was a fair technician with a big right hand, but he was lacking in speed, defense, versatility, workrate, and natural size. His limitations were badly exposed against Yaqui Lopez IMO. I think a case could be made that he was the weakest fighter to hold a version of the LHW title at the time that he won it.
