Nor have I. Film wise, Carter is a blindspot for me. Not seen much of him. Will watch a couple ten rounders and come back, but my immediate instinct from seeing loads of DeJesus and about 6 rounds or something of Carter, is that Carter is too good for him.
Carter's 2nd fight with Art Aragon is on on YT in full. And yes, I agree he would be too much for DeJesus. He wasnt as dynamic and powerful as Duran and Cervantes, but he was still too complete a technician for DeJesus.
Carter was a very good boxer/technician with a big punch. His main weakness was that he could sometimes be too patient or methodical for his own good, and he could occasionally be outboxed or outworked by someone with a speedy and/or unpredictable attack. I think DeJesus was quicker on his feet and would likely get off to an early lead... the question then becomes whether Carter would wear him down and come on late to take a decision or late stoppage.
