This is disappointing. Ryan took the huge cash out way out, which makes it apparent his words about building a legacy were a sham.

He should have taken the Davis fight, but I truly believe Oscar knows what Davis would do to Ryan, so they figured cash him out against the geriatric.

 

Unless he actually thinks he'll beat Pacquiao. That'd be a bigger win than any at LW.

 

For Ry to beat Pac, one of two things has to happen:

1. Pac has to be completely, completely, completely shot.

2. The fix would have to be in, and Manny lets the kid win for extra $$$$.

I don't think scenario #2 is out of the question.

 

I don't think either is. Pacquiao will be 42 coming off two years inactivity if/when this happens. He could go in and just collapse. The guys older than my dad.

Unless the fight happen at 135-140....I know pacquiao is a very small welterweight but over the last years he has been fighting at 145-147lb having to make 140 at his age could drain him of any energy/power/speed he has left...similar to what happen to DLH when he fough pac.

 

If King Ryan is as talented as he thinks he is, this becomes DLH-Chavez I where the first punch he lands cuts Pac open

Well, Pac's only a year younger than me and if my condition is any kind of barometer then Pac will be completely shot.

 

Garcia vs Pac is a great fight, not sure why you are complaining about it. It ain't 2010 (or even 18) Pac anymore
