I think Schroder being out has been equally devastating for the Lakers. It’s barely been mentioned but I think it not only hurts their offense but also puts more on LBJ by removing their key ball handler.

It must have irked you seeing Russ looking like his old self and being a big part of the reason the Wizards knocked off the Lakers, albeit without AD, but still.

schroeder being out hurts but its not quite the loss of davis, a top 5 player.

it didnt irk me at all, i was happy to see a competitive game on that went to OT when there were no other games left on the docket. and its always good to see the lakers lose. its still weird to me to see him and james choking clutch free throws at the end of games. james has never been a very good free throw shooter for whatever reason, but at one point westbrook was in the 80s . how do you regress at something like that, other than by stopping practicing them?

Westbrook’s free throw shooting has come down a long way. He actually shot 50% from the line yesterday. The blow by blow guys said Russ is actually left handed and does everything but shoot with his left hand. I was surprised to hear that and wonder if that’s a big reason he’s such a terrible shooter.

I noticed Russ’s movement is different than when he started the season. He looks way more explosive and quick so that hamstring must have really been holding him back. He’s not totally the same guy as a few years ago based on the fact he pretty much doesn’t even try to dunk anymore, even on fast breaks. On the positive side at least he seems to be back to mostly refusing to shoot open threes when the defense gives them to him.

That’s news to me, I don’t think I knew that. Add Ben Simmons to that list and out of everyone in the league he looks the most like someone who not only shoots with the wrong hand but looks like someone who just started doing it last week.

    Booker...

Obviously, All 3 Can PLAY, But Murray is Inconsistent as Hell and There' SOMETHING REED Can't Quite Put His Finger On, Yet DISLIKES About Mitchell...

It Pissed Mitchell Off, But There was VALIDITY to Some of the Comments Made By the TNT Crew...

Ben Simmons is DOPE, But He Needs to Get OUT Of His Feelings About the 3-Ball...Seriously...

Simmons with a 3 point shot. Even 35 % is an elite player

To me he just needs a mid range shot

I like Mitchell out of the 3

Me too. I like Mitchell the best as well. Obviously Booker comes second with Murray a distant third.

Per the Ol' Coaching Adage, "You Gotta TAKE 'em to MAKE 'em"...Ben Simmons Will Never Improve as a Perimeter Shooter Until He DARES to Shoot from the Perimeter Consistently...

It's Really THAT Simple, Which is What's Soooooo FRUSTRATING About Simmons...

Clips are missing Pandemic P and half the roster, yet Lue has completely out-coached the hell out of Bud and blown out Milwaukee

reed are you suggesting durant doesnt have an injured hamstring? is it his achilles, or they just resting him for the playoffs?

I wonder if Durant’s lingering injury has something to do with covid 19. He actually got covid two separate times and who knows what the long term effects could be.

Honestly if the nets are all healthy aside from Durant I'd pick them to win the east. Aldridge and griffin look to have a lot left in the tank, and the skill sets to fit in

REED Sincerely HOPES They’re Merely Resting KD for When it Matters, But Dude Ain’t Played a Game Since Before Valentine’s Day Bruh.

A Partially TORN Hamstring Could’ve Healed in the Same Timeframe and the Nets Have Never ELABORATED On the Severity.

The Loooooonger KD’s Out the More Plausible it Seems He Had an Achilles Setback of Some Sort.

    REED Hopes he’s WRONG...

    We shall see I guess.

Why the fuck did someone name this kid on the nets Alizè Johnson?

That's the liquor of choice you picked to name your SON?

Anyone think Baylor can beat Gonzaga?

Ucla played a near perfect game and almost pulled it off

If Davion Mitchell CONTINUES to Shoot the 3 as he Did this Past Year @ Baylor, He'll Indeed Be a PROBLEM in the NBA...

Off the Dribble, Mitchell's 1st Step is Just About AS QUICK As Any REED's Seen...He'll Be an All-NBA Defender Too, from Day 1..

agREED on Zion...w/His Strength and Athleticism, Dude Should Get 10 Boards in his SLEEP...Zion EXPLODES for Lobs and Offensive Rebounds, But Not Sooooooooo Much on the Defensive Glass...

REED Expects That to Change...w/Zion Running the Pelican Offense These Days, It Should ENCOURAGE Him to Get More Defensive Rebounds, ala, Russ...

More than Perhaps ANY Player in History, KD Shows Little to NO Ill Effects of Lengthy Layoffs...Once He's CLEARED to Play and Checks In, It's as if Dude Picks Right Up from Where he Left Off...

Thing is, Brooklyn's Big 3 Has Literally Played 7 Games TOGETHER, This Season...7! That's an Alarmingly LOW Number, w/Just 4 Games Remaining in a 72 Game Season...

Takes 16 Playoff Wins to Bring Home a Championship...They're Not Gonna Beat Philly or Milwaukee w/Out KD, Kyrie AND Harden - All 3 of Them...Nevermind the Lakers, Clippers or Jazz...

Bradley Beal just got hit with the dreaded hamstring injury. If he’s out the next several days I predict the Wizards will lose most if not all of their remaining games against Atlanta, Cleveland and Charlotte which will knock them out of the play-in and put a clamp on all the positive media Russ has been getting of late. Russ just can’t catch a break.
