    Flo-Raiden Undisputed Champion

Hagler going orthodox with Sugar Ray Leonard
Sor Rungvisai fighting orthodox with Estrada in the rematch
Michael Nunn fighting James Toney on the inside frequently
Lomachenko doing nothing but back up and giving away rounds in the first half of the fight

One thing overlooked on this forum. Mayweather-Gatti happened shortly after Hatton-Tszyu. Most people here thought that was just as much or even more of a mismatch. Only a few of us here (Me, Irish, Neil and a few Brits) picked Hatton. A lot of people had Tszyu winning by early KO.

So after Hatton won and 95% of the forum was earing crow, Petre TG and a couple of others started a serious "Gatti can actually beat Mayweather" campaign on here. Of course that didn't work out so well.

I also picked Hatton. There was quite a few posters that picked him, but most of those that picked Tzsyu were predicting a slaughter. So i guess for them the result must have been shocking

I believe you but I remember very few that picked Hatton.

Very, very, very few people on this forum and in the media picked Hatton. If JOM was one, then credit to him.

In 05, in a span of less than 2 months, we saw three HUGE upsets - Hatton over Tszyu, Maussa over Harris, and Taylor over Hopkins.

Actually the odds were very close for Taylor vs Hopkins. In fact there was a situation before the fight where you could make profit by betting on both guys simultaneously (and hope there wouldn't be a draw). Hopkins was favored by the experts but I wouldn't call it a huge upset

Yeah, I remember that fight as being roughly pick 'em and tough to choose.

Oscar designing his own trunks for the Sturm fight. Not only did they look like he made them with a bedazzler, they looked two sizes too small and it looked like they were on backwards.

I was having a fight party at my house. A few people got there late. The first thing out of their mouths after they sat down was "What's up with Oscar's trunks?"

On top of that, it was the night he ate some bad oysters.

Odds for hatton tszyu were around 2-1. I won't pat myself on the back for picking Hatton, it Wasn't that big of an upset

Agreed. Always found Hearns-Hagler overrated as a fight because of this. Was very one sided imo.

And Hearns looked very mediocre in that fight. Hagler made him look like a pure front runner a la steven butler. And this is coming from someone who rate Hearns as one of the greatest talent ever
