Was Prime Marvin Hagler the most unbeatable MW?

Been watching Hagler recently. There was something other-worldly about him. His hands appear to have been really heavy making his jab particularly punishing and even glancing left hands hurtful. Add in his superb conditioning and sturdy chin and the most unbeatable MW may be exactly what he was.

 

Do you think he had some special wraps?

 

No. I think his hands were naturally heavy. He wasn't really a one-punch guy. And he rarely loaded up.

But what's weird is, Trinidad was forced to rewrap his gloves before facing Hopkins. And his power was clearly missing that night. And was never the same again. So it's not some crazy conspiracy theory to think that it had been a decisive factor for him in prior fights. Everyone's entitled to his opinion but let's not pretend the allegations are unfounded.

 

Tito barely landed anything of consequences against bhop. His hands could have been wrapped in uranium and it wouldn't have made a difference.

And disagreed. He showed huge power against Cherifi and Mayorga

 

His conspiracy theory about Tito is madness at this point. No point in even arguing with him anymore.

To be honest, I'm not even sure Double actually believes it. Think its more of a running gag for him

 

Yeah he had an aura. I love watching him, so tough, so good, so confident. I was too young when he was in his prime but I know I would have been a big fan.

 

The only thing anybody knows for sure about the mercurial double L is that he doesn't pay his fair share in taxes.
