I'd probably give the edge to Hearns on points, but wouldn't rule out that Ward gets inside and turns the fight in his favor at some point.
I slightly favour Ward, but ... Nah, rebembering how Kovy beat him the forst time around with his jab and power, and Hearns is a slight favourite
Yeah, I think Tommy should be favored - especially if we can use the Andries version of Hearns who still had all his explosive speed and power.
This is an interesting one. I feel like Ward should be the favourite but Hearns can absolutely take this one. The more I think about it, I'd probably take Hearns as well. It's not like Ward had that one-hitter/quitter punch to take Hearns out, and he isn't quicker.
Just watched Hearns vs Andries for the first time, and I think it's right up there with Hearns' best technical performances. Brilliant counter-punching, a good defensive performance with a excellent display of parrying and head-movement, and one of the first time I've seen Hearns instinctively clinch after being hurt. His jab didn't look quite as good as I've seen it in the past, but it was still brilliant. It was also one of the shittest performances by a referee I've ever seen. Andries was down about seven times in the sixth, it should've been stopped.
I actually think Ward would get inside and win ugly...lets face it Andries couldn't hold Andre's jockstrap
