I didn't watch the freak show. Trying to piece together what actually happened by people's one line posts in here, I heard Red got stretchered off by a couple of people. Leaving on a stretcher usually doesn't coincide with losing a unanimous decision.

After reading new posts from this morning, it's clear what actually happened. Last night it wasn't.

REED Ain't Opposed to Circus Fights, Necessarily, But Any Interest He MIGHT Have Had in the Jake Paul-Ben Askren Card was Sufficiently KILLED @ the Weigh In...

Though Never RIPPED, Askren @ Least Showed Up IN SHAPE for his UFC Fights...Motherfucker Didn't Even BOTHER for the Paul Fight; Like Not Even 1 Sit-Up...

He was 171 in His Final UFC Fight, 191 vs. Paul...Hope it was WORTH It, Because Askren DISGRACED Himself and Combat Sports Proper...

Quote of the night for me (not exact I can’t remember shit perfects): “Impressive victory for Paul... and Ben Asren has been in their with alot of very good MMA fighters!”... “Yeah, but has he been in there with a Youtube star??!”

Lulz all round. I have to admit, I thouroughly enjoyed the self-admitted clownfest that was this production. They took a joke of a fight and rolled with it.

This fight enhances the legacy of Nate Robinson.

He lasted longer than an Olympic wrestler/MMA star.

As MUCH as People Want to Label This a "Black Eye for Boxing", it was Even WORSE for MMA...

Ben Askren was a Top 5 UFC Welterweight a Mere 2 YEARS Ago...

    Literally Bruh...

Not Top 5ish, RANKED 5th by UFC Heading Into His 5-Second, Flying Knee KO Loss to Jorge Masvidal...Fight Took Place July of 2019...

REED's a FAN of MMA and Hates Perpetuating the "Boxing vs. MMA" Argument, but if Either Sport Looked WORSE Last Night, it's Definitely MMA...

That's for sure. Boxing dodnt really looked bad yesterday. At least all the boxers won. We survived a ton of freakshows, this one was far from the worst.

But still, at the end of the day, askren was known as a wrestler who had terrible standup. It doesnt hurt mma too much

"Hurts" May Not Be the Operative Word, but it Damn Sure Doesn't HELP MMA...

Ben Askren had 21 Professional Fights, All of Which Began Standing...

Yet HE Was Made to Look Like the "Inexperienced Youtuber", by a Guy That Wouldn't Win a Fight in the Dallas Golden Gloves, Nevermind a NATIONAL Amateur Tournament...

If a RETIRED Boxer Did This to Askren, No Harm...But Actual Retired Boxers Would Make Jake Paul Look the Way Paul Made Askren Look...

    Absolutely:Jest:...

Couple Months Training MAX, Just to Reawaken his Timing/Cardio SOMEWHAT...Get Some Rounds of Sparring Back Under his Belt...DeLa Had a Good JAB @ His Best & Not Only Would Paul NEVER Get Past It, It Would Feel Like a Power Punch to Him...

Even a Coked Up, Considerably PAST Prime DeLa Beats the Brakes Off Jake Paul...1 CLEAN, Patented DeLa Left Hook and Jake Paul's Instantly a GIF...

By Most Accounts, Jake Paul is COMMITTED to Boxing; Takes it Seriously, Listens to his Coaches and he Has a Degree of Athletic Wherewithal, Admittedly...

But There's LEVELS to This Shit...

One of REED's Closest Boxing Friends is Larry "Slomoshun" Smith...

    upload_2021-4-18_18-21-33.png

His Record IS What it Is and Dude Can't Even Get Licensed in the State of Texas Anymore...Nonetheless, REED Would Bet a MONTH'S Salary 'Moshun Would Beat Jake Paul in a Fight...

    Seriously...

Agreed, but I'm not sure he koes him (Hoya is much smaller ) but he would win without much problem. Let s take a look at how grandpa Holmes was clowning physical specimen in their youth as a grandpa. And these were pro who had been doing this for years

If DeLa Lands Anything RESEMBLING the Left Hooks he Dropped Quartey, Vargas or Mayorga w/, Jake Paul's Size Advantage WON'T Matter in REED's Opinion...

If a Completely SOBER Paul Catches a High, Drunken DeLa Leaving the Club @ 3am, Maybe.....MAYBE Paul is Competitive...,But It's Doubtful He Wins...

w/a Semblance of PREP Time, DeLa Beats the Brakes Off Jake Paul...Next Saturday Night, DeLa Beats the Brakes Off Jake Paul:Jest:...

Come On JoM, DeLa Just Turned 48 and Walks Around About 180 or So (Well UNDER 200 for Certain) and He was 1 of the BETTER Fighters to Ever Lace 'em Up...A Perennial Top 10 Lb for Lb Level Dude, for @ Least a DECADE...

Muscle Memory ALONE Gives DeLa a Nearly Insurmountable Advantage Over Just About Any Reasonably Sized Regular Guy Walking the Street, in a Boxing Match...His Drop Off is Dramatic in the Realm of World Class Fighters, NOT Joe Blows...

No Version of Jake Paul "Beats Up" DeLa...

I dont think those kinds of hooks from DLH exist anymore.

He just doesn't have that kind of velocity and snap at 50 years old and a raging coke head/alchy.

REED Commends Jake Paul for Carving His Own Niche But There's NOT Much of a Shelf Life Left In This for Him, Honestly...

He'll Eventually Fall Victim to His Own Successes, as Each Opponent Will Need to Be Increasingly Tougher, ie., More CREDIBLE, to Picque Viewer Interest...Already Beaten a Fellow Youtuber, Already Beaten a Professional Athlete, Already Beaten a Former Pro Fighter...

Now, He'll Need to Face a RESPECTABLE MMA Striker @ the Very Least, If Not an ACTUAL Boxer, Which he Literally Has Yet to Do...

Within 2-3 Fights MAX, Jake Paul Will Be VIOLENTLY Exposed Or He'll Have Revealed Himself as a Scared Opportunist, Continuing to Beat Up Youtubers, Smaller Retired Athletes and/or MMAists w/Shit Stand Up and Punch Resistance...

Jake vs. KSI Would Sell, Because KSI Has 2 Wins Over Logan Paul...But That's Literally the LAST Non-Credible Fighter Jake Could Get Away w/Fighting, Expecting to Pull a Million PPV Buys...

I dunno if they spar. i just watched some video where he was in the locker room with paul and was talking shit to woodley. love was a bum who never beat anyone.

as for paul, i think he could continue to sell ppvs as long as the opponents are well known. even non fighters who are celebrities.
