Calzaghe didn't beat Lacy with afflefizism and skillz......he stuck a southpaw jab in his face, roughed him up, stood in front of him, maintained a great pace, threw loads of leather, moved, stuck, boxed, brawled, the works.

Calzone is cursed. I've never seen a fighter tumble so badly in estimation after Calzaghe beat him as Lacy did.

For a full decade, things worked the opposite way at 147 where guys were deemed brilliant because they had beaten some guy who had beaten some guy who had beaten some guy.

 

Ive more respect for Carl Froch and his resume than for Slappy Joe's. There, said it.

Thats simply not true. There was nothing clear in Reid Calzaghe
