Amazing. It's so nice to know we got these people on board with us. How can we fail when we got that sort of cover and protection. I always knew James was a good guy that time he told Nancy Pelosi to climb inside one of her $28,000 fridges and die.

Oh no wait that never happened. Instead he put on 30lbs just looking at her ice cream collection.

Always remember Wiser- the greatest trick the Devil pulled was making people think he didn't exist.

A few short seasons ago Sky had a conversation about making the goals bigger as not enough goals were being scored. People have always wanted to tinker with the game. And now they act like they didn't

The sport needs leaving alone. But it's becoming fraught and very very partisan. It's a vehicle now for vested interests- from base tribalism of fans to narco-nomics and geopolitics.

I agree with you to a degree regards modern youth.

For me, especially since 2005 when I got this mad notion that people with no money could actually compete at the biggest level, football is about marshaling your emotions and your attention for a given span, a campaign, and seeing what you can get out of the Season, seeing what bullshit you can avoid, etc.

Maybe we will win the league. Ok maybe we will challenge. Ok maybe top 4. Ok maybe a domestic cup. Ok maybe beat Man United or Everton. OK maybe take somebodies unbeaten record.

Kids aren;t into that. Fuck that. Fuck 4 years of restructuring to have one or two fast seasons. If your team is winning, YOU are winning. If your team is losing, YOU are a loser. That's the modern sentiment.

They want what we had with Jake Paul the other night. Guy runs across the ring and the commentator screams "OH I am gonna CUM"

Damn straight. And it's had a few more chapters added to it these past few years.

Modern life is about total control. I sometimes wonder if the owners look at the fans and think "We can't control these people, yet".......I wonder if they sit down and have meetings about "What we gonna do with these fans, these people".

I'd love to know what goes on in there.

I've been doing some reading about this Transhumanism and it's clear that this new class of Tech, Media, Sports really want's to transcend their human condition, get into a new separate class of person, where they don't have to deal with the grubbiness of humanity.

    Sordid.

The president of the ESL thinking the 18th of April, 2021 would be the perfect date to let the world know about his brilliant new league:

According to Sky's detective work, they've named three clubs as the think tank that started the Super League.

    Real Madrid
    Juventus
    Man United

I am partial to the 2014 Great Britain Women's Curling team. I was in England during the Sochi Winter Olympics. It just so happened that the couple of times I needed a good wank, women's curling was on the telly. I'll never forget those women.

One of the few times I went against my own country in the Olympics. Later in the trip, I turned on the TV and saw the GB women were playing against the USA women. I wanted to cheer for USA but I felt like I had already bonded with team GB so I stuck with them.

A lesson in women's sports. It's difficult to turn your back on a team you've already jerked off to twice. That's going to be in a book someday.

Bill Burr knows how to regulate affairs- he's not on a par with Ryan Giggs, not yet, but he's getting there.

Giggs maintains order. Burr brings the laughs.

Liverpool labouring again. Missing chances. Probably not win this one either at this rate.

There's a competition-who've swandived further since lockdown, Celtic or Liverpool? Adjusted for the relative height of their cliffs

Made £208 today on Liverpool. Sad but true but good.

I'd say Celtic in that Liverpool at one point had Homeless Tom McSharry at center back :Jest:

There was no real reason for Celtic to fall off.

Even City are a shadow of what they were last season and that was a shadow of what they were the year before that which was an imitation of the year before that :Jests:

6 weeks from now it will be as if none of it happened.

David Starkey quoting the man "nothing is important......AJ Balfour......."nothing matters very much and few things matter at all"............things matter because YOU make them matter"

Delighted all this ESL nonsense got shut down so quickly, but it doesn't mean it couldn't go ahead in the future.

I am delighted it flopped. Delighted.

What I am not delighted with is that the aversion of the crucifixion means the flogging can continue unabated.

If you flog a guy he objects to it.

If you then threaten him with crucifixion, and it never materializes, he's happy to continue being flogged, like he's had a big win.

Gary Neville? The guy is DOPING the daylights out of his own Club. He's made a fortune out of the capture of football by big Media interests.

And you've got guys saying "Put some respect on his name".

Some win for Burnley at Wolves.

I'd fancy United to get all 3 points at Leeds.

    0-0 at half time.

I might set up my stream for the League Cup final. Might.

Isn't it an unfair playing field as the England's Women's team are professional and the rest are either semi-pro and amateur?

There is no unfairness in Womens Sports. It is the fairest bestest littlest endeavour in Human History.

So much for Equity in football. 2 of the 3 relegateds back up with no bother. Without so much as a question asked.

And Fulham, who fortuitously went up via the Playoffs having lost twice to Brentford in the league.......are straight back down having offered nary a whimper.
