Parker lands a lovely hook to time Chisora coming in.

Chisora backs his man up with jabs up and down.

I think Parkers plan is for Chisora to get tired, then come on himself.

Parker tries a double left hook, the second one lands.

Parker with the check hooks to open the round. Nice.

Chisora responds with more of the same- bulling his man, winging shots.

Round 5
Pattern is established now: Parker popping the jab, the check hook, Chisora winging the right and the body shots as he bulls forward. Parker gets up on his toes and pops the jab and when he does he is in charge. When he makes Chisora bend at the waist, he's making him burn gas and he's burning him out. Chisora a bit more measured now.

Round 6

Chisora has slowed, palpably. When he;s on the outside, he's an easy target. Parker works the jab and when Chisora squares up, Parker works him over. Oh Chisora lands a beautiful uppercut that Parker takes nicely. Parker was expecting more body work. Hard to say what's happening here as Parker is not pumping the jab like he was.

I am giving that one to Chisora on activity.

Parker starts with the great jabs. Chisora slowly plods into range and lands ONE shot to the body. He's slowed. Parker with a lovely hook. A bit slappy but nice. Parker rips the jab and right hand.

I am calling it now.......Parker will stop this fella in the later rounds, maybe even the last seconds of the fight.

Parker is just pumping the jab, moving, lovely.

Chisora switches to SP to try and get his own "Jab" going and he has some success.

Chisoras turn to get clubbed on the back of the head.

Chisora gets the worst of the final exchange, but but both had success.

76-76. Dead even after 8.

Chisora has 4 more rounds of this shit. He needs something BIG and soon.

 

Round 9
Chisora starts off with a slow left hook that lands. No snap or weight on it.

Parker not doing much so far. Chisora gets in two solid jabs to the belly and goes to the belly some more.

Parker tries a 3 punch combo- flashy but not powerful. He moves off.

I don't know if Chisora has the explosiveness to find a way to win.

86-87 PARKER.

 

Round 10
both men start a jabbing war, that's fine, until Parker gets bored, rattles off a combo, Chisora tries to reply but its a forced shuffling effort.
Buddy McGort roars at Chisora to open up " 2 hands" but Chisora does not respond.
Parker throws a right, and the short hook. The hook lands. Parker pops the jab.Finally he pushes Chisora back. Chisora forces himself forward with the southpaw jabs. Chisora keeps himself in the round with more mauling but the sharper work has been Parkers.

Very close round, probably Parkers.

97-95 Parker but it might be 1 round closer.

 

We know Parker has late rounds power.

 

ROUND 11.

Parker starts off with a lovely check hook as Chisora plods forward manfully. Chisora throws in a few blows, some looked low. Parker gets the jab going. Lands a cracking right- not powerful, but SHARP off the jab. Parker finds another combo. Chisora backs up off another combo. Parker being SCREAMED at to move his hands but he prefers a curious plodding routine. Chisora continues to rush in. No head movement except when he gets hit Parker throws the jab again. Parker rips off a combo- ineffective but flashy. Chisora finally gets some work done in a clinch. Again Parker with the combos. He's thrown the best combos all night.

Parkers round an that was clear as day.

107-105 PARKER

 

Round 12.

Chisora starts fast with a double jab. Blocked .Chisora gets in a fat right hand, winged over the top and again. Chisora comes on strong. He telegraphs a body jab. Misses. Parker tries the check hook but he;'s backed off by Chisora. McGirt has told Chisora NOT to go for the knockout. Parker is being outworked for the first half of the fight. Parker gets off a few jabs. Parker opens up. HURTS CHISORA
Chisora comes back. Looks dead tired. Parker kind of let him off there. Chisora is just dead dead tired. But he plods forward. Parker tries a left on the ropes, Chisora slips it.

I think Chisora won that round -JUST.

116-115 Parker.

 

PARKER got CURIOUS and let his man go.

Anyways, I have it 116-115 Parker but there was a few very close rounds in there. This is a split decision I am sure of it.

 

Parker gets it on the split decision.

 

115-113, 116-111 for Parker, 115-113 Chisora.

I had it closer than that. No fucking way 116-111

 

Close fight. Tought Chisora edged it, but have no beef with Parker getting the nod

 

Three times now he's had shitty split decisions in close fights.

 

Chisora has simply never had NO MANAGEMENT that could get him the close decisions.

Parker is a top 10 guy today and he's barely getting the decision.

Parker needed to just get on his bike and pump the jab.

 

Chisora is upset. Seems genuinely upset about the result, and how he can't get a break.

Rematch seems a strong likelihood.

The problem Chisora has is that he just has no variety and plan B.

He's the same fighter he was when he was beating Sam Sexton a decade ago.

I had it for Parker, he won, but not 116-111.

Parker isn't stinky- all the class work was his, Chisora just tries to outgame everyone.

Chisora might have the best losing streak in boxing.
