Taylor is more consummate and powerful, regards to his opponent, than Saunders was with Canelo.

Some of that is down to Taylor, some of it is down to Ramirez.

I think Taylor finds a way to win.

Ok, what i will say though is... Ramirez throws good uppercuts with either hand, and Josh IS susceptible to swelling.

I'm playing devil's advocate, but Ramirez's path to victory isn't impossible.

 

At 2 weeks out, Ramirez weighs 146 and Taylor weighs 147.

In other words, both are in excellent shape and will easily make weight.

 

I can't wait for this fight. It's gonna be great. Shame there's almost no promotion for it here.

There's zero promotion for it here either. And I'm talking zero promotion on ESPN, the network that's airing it.

I don't expect many casuals to tune in. Though, it is on ESPN, so I'm sure it'll attract SOME casuals who are just flipping channels and decide to watch the fight.

With Top Rank being the idiots that they are, Taylor-Ramirez probably won't be in the ring until midnight, and by then ONLY hardcores will be watching.

It'd be better if the main event started closer to 10pm, but no one in this sport has a brain it seems.

 

Aye, similar with fighte here - events billed as 10pm M/Es dont start til after 11, end up finishing ~midnight. I really dont undetstand it. Total pain in the arse.

 

The sport is run by total idiots, I swear.

Casuals will only tune in for a midnight fight if its a HUGE, HUGE fight, like Fury-AJ.

Midnight is too late for a casual viewer to watch a sport they're not totally in love with.

Only us boxing degenerates will stay up that late for boxing.

And these bellends wonder why its so hard for the sport to attract new fans.

 

Yeah this trend of starting main event at or past midnight is really annoying. Tolerable right now since there is nothing to do at night, but under normal circumstances, it fucks your whole Saturday night
