We already have Hatton in with one defense specialist in Locche. How does he fare against another defense specialist in Benitez?
Nah, Benitez was too sharp for Ricky. He'd win a decision. I don't wanna see anyone claim it'd be a dissection though, given that there's no 17 year old on the planet who was stronger than Hatton, and Benitez was massively troubled by Harold Weston's pressure. Ricky would absolutely have his moments, but Benitez was way better.
Benitez would knock Hatton out. He was a bigger puncher than Floyd, and very underrated as a finisher once he got a guy in trouble.
It would be a dissection if Benitez is on his Cervantes form. Ricky Hatton was simply not all that good.
