Now Everton are playing at home against the last place team in the league. A chance to stay even on points with Spurs & West Ham. I have been a fan since '04. This is where Everton are NOTORIOUS for blowing golden chances like this. I hate to say it but since Moyes left, it's gotten worse. It's almost a guarantee now. The bigger the match, the closer to the end of the season, the more uninspired and disappointing we've been.

At the start of the season it's 5th place gets a spot. The League Cup winner gets a spot. The FA Cup winner gets as spot.

But like most seasons lately, the two cups were won by clubs already going to Europe. So those spots go to 6th & 7th place. The only difference this season is 7th place goes to the new Europa Conference.
