    He can redirect a header.

Everton have two midfielders (Allan & Gomes) that every time they attempt a shot, put it into the back row of the second deck. Like, I realize they're defensive midfielders and all but I imagine at some point in their lives, they've practiced aiming at a goal.

This was a big failing at celtic this year under Lennon - midfielders had clearly been told to shoot on sight. 5-10 a game it ends up in the stand, often when there are good outlets/options available. Enough to make you scream

word to the wise...........if your bet is draw/win and it's level after 90 minutes, cash the fuck out.

I had £10 that returned £37 if that ended level.

I should have taken £30 and then got my win anwyays.

Within a few days BVB have won the Deutschlandia Cup and qualified for the CL.

Now we get to lose both Sancho and Haaland within the next two years to prevent any further possible upward momentum.

Sounds like some sort of "Whites Only" tournament.

I mean, Haaland was signed to a contract only recently, surely they got good lawyers at Dortmund with proper clauses like if he leaves early, he costs £100m more.

No matter how good a player is you can do good work with £100m.

Much of Liverpools success is built off the back of two "irreplaceable" players- Coutinho and Suarez, signed for a combined £35m, sold for a combined £200m.

Liverpools new Lawyer, Mr J.D Wiser, says that even if that happens then Liverpool are still IN even if they finish 4th to Chelsea's 5th.

this is confirmed by some guy at a site called inews

How Chelsea finishing fifth and winning Champions League affects top four race

"Were Chelsea to finish fifth and win the Champions League, that would not affect the team who finish fourth from qualifying for the competition.

The only scenario where fourth would have missed out was if Chelsea won the Champions League, Arsenal won the Europa League and both clubs finished outside the top four. Arsenal’s semi-final loss to Villarreal means that is no longer possible.

All four or five English clubs will enter the Champions League group stages, with Premier League champions City and current runners-up United both confirming their places in next season’s premier European tournament."

Basically as we speak, it's like this:

Lester 66 points, 36 games played

Chelsea, 64 points, 36 games played

Liverpool, 63 points, 36 games played.

But Lester and Chelsea play each other before Liverpool travel to Burnley.

If that ends a draw, then Lester will probably uncatchable for Liverpool so if Liverpool beat Burnley, that leaves Liverpool 1 point ahead with 1 game each remaining.

Liverpool are at home to a team they tanked 7-0 already, Palace.

Chelsea are away to Villa that same day.

Where things get funky is if Chelsea beat Lester.

That would leave Lester on 66 , as they are now, with Liverpool moving level with them on points and presumably on a superior goal difference should Liverpool beat Burnley, as both sides are GD +22 as we speak.

It stands to reason that if Lester lose and Liverpool win, then Liverpool will draw level on points but ahead on GD.

And when the sides met, Liverpool won 3-0 and Lester won 3-1, so their head to head is tilted slightly for Liverpool.

Lester are home to Spurs on the final day but they would have to batter Spurs and hope Liverpool don't do likewise to Palace.

So ideally a DRAW or Leicester and Liverpool to beat Burnley.

Where it really works out for Liverpool is that thanks to Uniteds fans acting the price, Chelsea gotta play Lester FIRST on Tuesday and then Liverpool play on Wednesday. So they don't have the luxury of "knowing" that a point will do.

    Cos it might not.

It's enraging. But for a late minute equalizer vs Newcastle, Liverpool would really be in the box seat.

In fact, if Liverpool had won both the drawn games with Newcastle and Leeds, they'd be hunting United down in 2nd, which kind of makes a mockery of any idea that United had "challenged" for the title this year.

Haaland has the cuntiest of all agents. (Raiola)

Sure you can do good work but there is only so much "rebuilding" one can do. The chemistry and balance is constantly upset. BVB used to have Reus, Gotze and Lewandowski. If that trio alone had been kept together Bayern wouldn't be dominating every season. It sucks worse that two of them went to direct rivals but it was a massive blow all the same.

Both Sancho and Haaland are. I'm assuming they hold on to at least one but that's only for a year.

It's been all Chelsea in the 2nd half so far. They should have had a penalty too IMO
