Arum said no step aside money. He's targeting July 24 for Fury-Wilder III. Good. Let's be done with the Bama fraud forever. He'll surely retire in shame after this one.
Read above. TR is gonna go through with the trilogy. I think everyone is collectively sick of Wilder (except for his LDBC boyfriends), and just wants to be rid of him for good.
I wonder how this would work out legally if Fury goes ahead with Joshua fight in Saudi anyway. He's not a U.S. citizen and it's a civil matter so what would be the consequences if Fury ignored the judge's order? Presumably he wouldn't be able to fight in the U.S. again or maybe even have issues immediately upon entering the country but would that be the limit?
That's fucked up. Like Wilder wasn't a big enough villain already. Now he has to upend the one heavyweight matchup people actually care about?
I don't care about it if it is in Saudi. Anyways, I am sure the Fury vs Joshua fight is going ahead. Eddie Hearn told me.
I can picture Fast Eddie talking to Hitler in his bunker: "We've got em right where we want em, mate! Adolf, baby, you got this!"
No, I think the trilogy will happen. I don't think Wilder is viewed as a threat to derail Fury-AJ. I hope it does happen on July 24, my birthday weekend. Fury would give me a tremendous present if he puts Beyonce in a coma.
Ahhh, its a fuckin money grab. Beyonce wants 20 mil to step aside. Nope! Fury needs to call his bluff. He needs to go full Wyatt Earp. "You called down the thunder, well now you got it!"
Apparently he wants 20 million to step aside. I'm pretty sure that's not the definition of step aside money.
Our ole buddy Dubblechin just said on ESB that Wilder would destroy Sonny Liston. Now I'm glad he won't come back.
Not a problem if you use Kid D logic. Ali stopped Liston twice. Wilder has more one punch power than Ali. Conclusion = Wilder destroys Liston. Simple math. Duh.
Punches are like aircraft. You have to be able to launch them, and you have to be able to land them, and you have to not collide mid-air inbetween. Wilder should stay fucking grounded if he knows what is good for him. If I was him, I'd ask $10m. Lewis got $4m to step aside in the mid 1990's so Bruce Seldon could demonstrate gravity vs Tyson. Adjusting for inflation and the value of the step-aside to Hearn/Fury/Joshua/Saudi's, I'd ask $10m. What's important here is how much is at stake to the other parties. If Wilder has a contractual ENTITLEMENT, he needs to enforce that, bearing in mind all the while that his stepping aside is hugely beneficial to other parties- and good luck to him. But he needs to enforce it once, then fuck off.
Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury verbally agree to fight again on July 24 in Las Vegas, sources say (espn.com)
Like i said, Garbage. Break my balls laughing if Wilder beats him and instead we get Wilder and Joshua bouncing around in front of the Arabs.
We haven't reached the bottom of this. In my head, I believe that Hearn wants Joshua as the champ, making soft-touch defences at Wembley. What I don't know is his role in the current mess, or how it is going to promote his plans. For sure, he intends to fuck Fury some way.
