    Skill-wise, pretty evenly matched.
    I think that they are on different sides of the weigh in change when it comes to making weight so there would probably be a significant size difference. That would matter because I don't think Tate is likely to stop McClellan but I think that McClellan can certainly stop Tate.

    Tate fought in the 24-hour weigh-in era and fought as high as 175, losing twice to Virgil Hill.

    I am assuming that the fight is at 160.
    When I say that they were on different sides of the weigh in change what I am referring to is the approach to making weight and I am speculating a bit.
    Frank Tate was pretty much done at 160 by the time McClellan turned pro. I know that McClellan, at his peak as a middleweight was actually a cruiserweight. I am guessing that Tate was either a chubby middleweight or a super middle.
