How does Josh fare versus both?

Bud beats him handily. Hard to say when it comes to fimo. Think he could get the job done, but wouldn't be surprised of taylor drowns him

Yeah, Bud is too big and too versatile for Taylor. He'd take away Taylor's bodywork, his left and ultimately expose Josh's leaky defence IMO. It'd be competitive at times, but ultimately, it's a very good technician vs a great one, where the better technician is also more talented. I dunno what'd happen in a Lopez-Taylor fight. It'd be an awesome fight that would really give conclusive answers to questions about both.

Bud seems like a lock unless age were to catch up to him overnight. But Crawford doesn't fight often and has taken practically no punishment, so age shouldn't creep up yet.

As for Fimo? I'm a Fimo fan, but I'm not 100% sold on him over Taylor yet.

We still don't know if Fimo has a dependable chin, and Josh hits a helluva lot harder than Loma.

Lopez would have likely knocked out Ramirez though. He'd have been nailing him at will.

I think Bud is too much for Taylor, too big and too good. Not a knock on Taylor, I just rate Crawford very highly. I'd love to see the Teo fight, personally. Josh has physical advantages over Loma, is skilled in his own right and most crucially, unlike Loma he will be willing to let his bloody hands go.

Taylor and Lopez are two skilled guys who come to fight, believe in their own abilities and have a mean streak in them. It's a great fight for the fans, pretty much guaranteed action.

Taylor Lopez makes the most sense for both. Maybe Lopez standing with top rank could prevent it but I'm surprised taylor is angling for Crawford. It wouldn't sound right if he called out a smaller guy, but if both bouts are on the table no sane manager would point him toward Crawford for the same or less money

For the same money? I go for Crawford. Taylor has less of a chance of beating Bud than he does beating Lopez, but for his legacy a Crawford win would be much more significant.

If the Lopez fight garners more money, then obviously Fimo.

I doubt Lopez-Taylor is gonna happen.

My hunch is Taylor sees no point in fighting a bum like Catterall, and that we'll see Crawford-Taylor in Oct-Nov.

w/All 3 Being Top Rank Fighter's Currently, Bud Should Garner MORE Money for Josh Taylor Than a 'Fimo Fight...From Taylor's Perspective, Bud's the Tougher, More DANGEROUS Fight and He Should Be Compensated Accordingly...

If the Money's EXACTLY the Same, Taylor Should Face "Fimo in REED's Opinion...

I think Lopez is already a bigger money fight than Crawford. Even in nebraska where he sells, the gate must be small, comparatively

Lopez isn't a huge name yet, he really isn't. He isn't doing his mainstream profile any favors by fighting on a platform that no casual is gonna watch.

Crawford is as popular as Fimo.

Outside of Canelo, the only non-heavyweight in the US thats a crossover star is Tank.

Ryan too, but more casuals have seen Tank since Garcia is stuck behind the DAZN paywall that no casuals watch.

Now Taylor vs Tank would be a huge fight, but we know goddamn well that faggot Ellerbe aint gonna let Josh beat the shit outta his cash cow.

    Tank is a crossover star??

  17. Xplosive

    He's pretty damn popular.

At least here on the east coast of the US.

Neil can better speak on his profile on the west.

I expect that to change in August. When Spence KOs Pac, he likely becomes a bigger name than Davis.

Look at Mikey - with Pac now taken, he's chasing a new payday:

Taylor would beat the shit outta Mikey at this stage.

    I don't have any interest in Taylor-Garcia.

Josh is a fighter that you're gonna have to beat up or KO to win, and I don't see Mikey doing either at this stage. He's never stopped a meaningful fighter above 135, and he's not gonna start with Josh.

Both Garcia's (Danny and Mikey) are pretty close to done. They just chase paydays now.

Garcia would have to work with TR to make the Taylor fight. Isn't there serious animosity between TR and Garcia?

  23. Xplosive

    Xplosive X-MOD Bad Motherfucker

Not sure if the animosity still exists, but it's a pipedream anyway. Taylor-Garcia isn't happening.

Now Davis vs Garcia? I could see that happening, assuming Tank gets past Barrios.

Floyd/Ellerbe might figure that Mikey is long enough in the tooth that it's worth having Davis face him.

  24. Double L

That'd be an excellent matchup! I think Garcia would win it though. But I'm assuming Tank is highly overrated until proven otherwise.

I think Mikey is a better fighter than Tank, and in his prime he would stop Tank.

I question if the combination of age, YEARS of inactivity, and dropping back down to 140 would take too much of a toll on Garcia.

I'm thinking that if Davis beats Barrios, that Mikey might be MP's next move, because they have zero interest in putting Tank in with Taylor or Prograis. They know they those guys would expose Tank.

Mikey garcia would brutally ko davis

  28. Xplosive

    Prime Garcia, I fully agree.

Who the Hell knows what Mikey has left now?

Years of inactivity, and consistently getting fat between fights takes its toll eventually.

Tank gets fat between fights too, but he's still young.

Can Mikey even safely make 140 anymore?

Id bet alot on a garcia KO over Davis. We will soon see Davis aint shit at 140lbs
