Sure maybe he ‘beat’ him.. but it wasnt clear. I couldn't really tell/care who won.

 

Linares' cross-counter is MIA, for some reason.

 

He’s not looking to have a shot at winning.. but Linares is landing some hooks. Haney doesnt look ‘unbeatable’..

Hayney 's decent but far from great imo. He might be the type who fight up to its level of opposition but not spectacular at all

Yeah one thing for certain is Teo would certainly do a better job following up if he rocks Haney than Linares did. Makes me wonder if it would have been different if Linares landed that same right hand earlier in the fight.

 

Right even floyd had respectable power. The only guy who was a pure boxer with no pop was Whittiker. Haney damn sure is no Sweet Pea. But I still think Haney beats Garcia and Tank.

 

Whats really alarming is that Haney was TRYING to stop Linares, and couldn't seriously hurt him.

With Gamboa, he was boxing safely, but he was gunning for a stoppage tonight and failed to do any damage... to Jorge glass Linares.

 

Even the pea showed power in a few of his fights. Haney seemed like a complete pillow fist

There's tiers from 135-140. Taylor and Fimo are a tier above the rest, while Haney seems to be on a similar tier as Ryan.

Tank is in between, where he's not good enough to beat Lopez and Taylor, but he should be heavily favored over Haney and Ryan.

I have no fucking clue how Haney expects to beat Lopez.

 

And no, garcia and tank would walk through him, and this is coming from someone whos a bit of a garcia hater

 

He wasnt known as a puncher. He did have some decent wins by ko but I'm just agreeing with the poster that said you need a little power to get respect at highest level. Obviously Linares is not Elite like Lopez or Lomachenko. I meant to say Haney will run into problems because of his lack of power.
