Don't get me wrong, I thought what Canelo did in that interview was a bitch move (same in how he handled the Andrade situation). Still, Hoya's diss was weak as fuck and made him look petty and envious imo. In other words it's not that he ''responded'' but how he did it

I thought Canelo handled Andrade crashing his press conference perfectly. So Andrade should get the fight just cause hes a stalker who calls him out? So if the janitor calls him out Canelo is a bitch too for not fighting him? Lol

Andrade knew Canelo was on a mission to unify 168. Like Canelo is just gonna forget his plans to make history just to fight a guy who has zero fan base and drawing power. No belt at 168 and an awkward boring style? Get real.

 

Or course not, no one's claiming he should have agreed to fight Andrade here and there (or at all in fact). But instead of telling him to fuck off, he should have told him to build his profile and fight relevant fighters instead of fishing for a fight with him. Andrade came in quite respectfully and I felt Canelo response was lowclass

Then Andrade kept talking, and Ginger's roid rage kicked in.

At the end of the day, though I despise Canelo, he's built a HOF career, while Andrade's career has been a MASSIVE MASSIVE letdown, and it's not Canelo's fault that Andrade's resume is a joke.

 

I gotta admit, I still don't like Canelo, but I can't say I despise him anymore. I think the reason why I've started to take a shine to him is because the English-speaking prick Canelo is actually really amusing and charasmatic.

No doubt, Andrade is trying to win the lottery while doing the least amount of work possible (in and out if the ring). Still, I feel Canelo's insults were unnecessary. Language barrier might be partially to be blamed though (and roids too of course ).

 

It's a pretty annoying thing in boxing. From Tyson, to ODLH, to Floyd to now Canelo. Every fighter out there calling out the biggest money-maker and acting like they're being ducked. Sure some have had a legitimate claim, but so many others think they can simply demand it without providing any reasoning. Anybody can understand why a fighter want that matchup but acting like you're entitled to it is grating

Did you see the tshirt he was wearing? About Saunders and Canelo being scared of him? Not very respectful . Youre right Andre appeared to be respectful at first and so was Canelo. Both were cordial. Then when canelo said Andrade doesnt fight with anybody all hell broke loose. Andrade's dad is to blame. He started heckling Canelo. At some point Canelo has to say something back. Thats what he did. Canelo is ghetto too what did you expect .

 

Anyone find it ironic how significantly public opinion changed on Oscar vs Tyson.

What I mean is, 20 years ago, Oscar was the most beloved figure in the sport, and Mike was the most despised.

Fast-forward to 2021, and Tyson, even in retirement, has become the sport's most beloved figure, and NO ONE likes Oscar. Like... no one. His fanbase is completely gone.

He's become far and away the sport's biggest running joke.
