That Lennox Lewis had a glass chin. That Mark Johnson was robbed against Richie Wenton at King's Hall Belfast in 1990.
Tyson as a mindless brawler is the biggest myth held by casuals. Mike was an aggressive counterpuncher with a high ring IQ.
I've never seen the Johnson-Wenton fight, so I've always just gone off the myth that Too Sharp was robbed.
Leonard-Benitez as a close, tactical fight is a common myth. It sure was tactical, but not close. Leonard basically dominated the entire fight.
Unsurprisingly, that broke ass couldnt pay for himself nor for hos girl. Though im surprised you paid for both. I thought you were a pauper
Benitez-Palomino being a close fight is a myth. I've heard that one often. Benitez beat Palomino wide.
I think it was back on secondsout. I’ve seen Trinidad-Joppy numerous times, and every time I hear Harold Lederman say “it’s a slow, spongy ring”, I think of Qwerty’s post. It’s early in the 4th round before one of the KDs
I'm sure he could've paid. I just figured he came out of his way to meet me, it was the least I could do. And wasn't like we had lobster.
I believe it absolutely was a robbery. Going off memory I believe I had Pea winning by 4 rds. Also ODLH was boxing’s literal golden boy and they fought like hell against giving him his first loss. Pea was also a fairly robbed fighter throughout his career, I think.
Harada vs Jofre I was a very close fight which Jofre could've / should've won. I thought it was a competitive but clear win for Harada score wise, and everyone who I've actually seen do a scorecard for it seems to agree with me. I don't understand where the 'Jofre should've won' sentiment comes from.
