Both rank among the greatest Mexican Americans. Who was better/greater? I've got Carbajal as greater, as he fought and beat much better comp. I think Canizales was a better fighter.
Yeah. Carbajal probably deserves to be called greater, but Canizales was a much better fighter. If he got the win he deserved vs Vazquez, he'd be both IMO.
This. I don't think the greatness gap was big either. But yeah, very hard to argue against Canizales in "better." Canizales was ranked top 5 P4P in several years. Carbajal was never a top 5 P4P guy.
