That's just English bookmakers covering themselves from bets made by optimistic England fans.

Italy are clear favourites. I've said from the opening game they have been the most impressive side in the tournament. Would love us to win and I think we can, but it will need everyone to be 100% on it and also a bit of luck falling our way.

Most finals are tight cagey affairs with both sides trying not to make a mistake rather than going for the win. I don't expect that to change, especially with these two. I'm thinking a 1-0 result either way.

I also thought the 2012 final between Italy vs Spain would have more closely resembled the semi-final we just saw and it ended 4-0 so who knows.

Its all up in the air. Last night was a microcosm....England were equally poor and brilliant, often at the same time. Its up to whichever side imposes themselves and for the longer periods and what they get done in those periods.

I feel 2-1 England if they get the breaks.

But if Italy take the lead and stay on it... I can see England maybe finish with 10 men and 2 goals down.

I don't think Kalvin Phillips and Rice are with it, and these dagoes are far far cuter than the respectable but pedestrian Danes.

I would be very surprised if Italy took the lead and didn't go on to win. Crucial that England score first imo.

It would be a big edge but i don't think if they fall behind it would be quite as disastrous as facing some Italian sides of the past in that scenario. Their central defense pairing is probably playing their last international tournament and the whole team looked quite tired against Spain even before going to extra time. If England play aggressively and physically they can win it. If they allow the game to be slow paced Italy will oblige quite happily.

I just hope a penalty doesn't decide it regardless if it's a 100% clear foul.

England will definitely start fast and get at Italy ASAP, Italy will obviously know that though and try to ride it out until the tempo inevitably drops. What I do like about this England side is that for the first time in a very long time most of the players seem comfortable in possession. Which means when the pace drops we won't be running around like headless chickens wasting energy, like we did against Croatia in 2018. Whilst I see your point about the age of the Italian centre backs, they have been immense throughout the whole tournament, and what they may lack in youth they most certainly make up for in tactical nous.

England have been charged by UEFA after Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel was targeted with a laser during the deciding moment of their Euro 2020 semifinal victory at Wembley on Wednesday.

The laser was pointed at Schmeichel as England captain Harry Kane stepped up to take a penalty in extra time.

Notice Jimmeh has not been around ...

I am hoping for an Ass-grabistan vs Mount-a-negro final next year in Qatar after 66 countries boycott that piece of shit.

Do they go by what people self-identify as or is there is an inspection before the match?
