    I was really looking forward to this fight. What year for boxing. I'm still looking forward to Fury-Wilder 3 and Canelo-Plant in Nov. Other than that it's been a shitshow of a year.

    Good point but I just meant overall with all the big fights cancelled it's been a tough year. Like Benevidez vs Uzcategui among others.

    I haven't followed his career closely enough to know if he's been a prick or anything to be honest, just going off what I've seen on 24/7, interviews etc. Seemed like a nice enough bloke, just a bit of a div.

    Funny you bring up Ortiz. I just watched his interview on fighthype.com and he claims he wants to become undisputed lol. I know boxers are supposed to be confident and believe in themselves but there's a big difference between confidence and being delusional. Ortiz is a known quitter who has been semi retired for 2 years and at 34 with today's talented welter weight division I can't see Ortiz becoming champion let alone undisputed. And as far as Ortiz being an asshole..I don't know much about his personal life but I know the Robert Garcia gym doesnt think too highly of him and he was arrested for some fucked up sex crime. He has a Tony Ayala Jr vibe about him. It's Safe to say I'm not a fan lol.

    Looking back at this it was probably a blessing in disguise. Could have been a bloody beating if Spence was in the ring with this current Pac.

    Victor Ortiz always seemed a little off to me, hearing about his arrest didn’t really surprise me. I remember Brandon Rios talking about what a terrible person Ortiz is behind closed doors, and although Rios is an asshole too, I found him believable
