Pascal vs Stevenson

Shama that this fight never happened. Who would have won and why?

 

I would say Stevenson probably gets Pascal out late while down on the cards.

Pascal looks good, but gets taken out.

Jean always struck me as a really poor man's Jones. Albeit with a better chin.

 

In the beginning of his career, he was fighting a lot like a poor man rj. Afterward, he turned more into a speedy slugger.

And agreed with both of you. Good fight, and pascal hurt Stevenson a few times, but he gets taken out eventually.

Btw, their amateur fights were dynamites

 

Jones is so many light years above Pascal that the comparison isn't even worth it.

If you wanna put a positive spin on things, Pascal was like a better version of Berto.

 

pascal's style reminds me of Berto. likes to hit and hold.

 

Disagreed. He looked a lot like him coming up. I rebember seeing him against Crawford and there was a lot of similarities with rj. But, as i said, hw realised he wasnt good enough to make it work even at the mid level, so he turned into more of a berto

 

Ward had a similar trajectory also. Was fighting like a poor man rj in the beginning, bit got hurt a few times and turned into more of an inside technician

 

yeah. true about ward. for that reason, i was not very high on him early on. but he was able to make his more inside game work.
