I think Arguello vs Ganigan is probably my number one. Brutal uppercuts to the body. Can we compile a list of the best body shot KO's of all time?

arguello ganigan is at the 19.30 mark of this vid for those who haven't seen it

Non-related to this topic, but the video you posted was about best uppercut KO's... Duran's KO of Ortiz with an uppercut was so damn nasty!

Anyway, as for this question, it's hard to beat Jones-Hill. For me, that's the GOAT body shot KO.

Fat from against the best opposition, but Jirov had some nasty ko to the body. The Brown one looked super painful

Oscar's video of himself in the hospital last week was his finest acting performance since 2004.

That Duran Ortiz ko is real nice. I also liked Saad vs Pergaud. It was beautiful how he got it through the guard. It was like a hook/uppercut hybrid punch.

I'd put Ward-Sanchez up there. I hate Hatton and Castillo was clearly done but it was a beautiful shot all the same.

Despite his many flaws, Amir Khan had a terrific left hook to the body, and dropped good fighters like Maidana and Collazo with it. Saying that though, I can't recall him ever actually finishing anybody with it.

I'm fairly certain McCallum never actually stopped anyone with a body shot. Maybe I'm being daft.

I was thinking of the Judah fight actually when I made that post. Wasn't a great shot though and Zab was clearly looking for a way out.

It was a decent shot that gave Judah - who never needed much of an excuse- an excuse to go looking for a way out.

That fight and the commentary was one of the things that sort of encouraged me to go off boxing for a bit.

The entire phony argument about whether it was a killer body shot or a cheap shot.........we all know what it was.

Manny and Lederman engaging in the BS argument about the law and low blows and belly buttons.........go and lie down lads.

Khan was one of those guys, not to go all Liam Neeson but he had a particular set of skills (or talents) that meant he could be heavily favoured against a certain type of opponent and would have no chance against someone else. I would genuinely have liked to have seen him get a shot against Mayweather, he wouldn't have won, but he definitely could have posed some stylistic difficulties early on, I would have just liked to have seen how Floyd would have solved the problems.

MAyweather would have eventually found him. And when he did.........

Hatton might be up there in the bargain-basement of high-grade bodyshots, Castillo was physically faded and mentally not in it but the shot Hatton hit him with was really grade A

How would he have done it though? It's not in his nature to do the whole walking-down thing whilst dropping rounds in the process, but I imagine that's what he would have had to have done to get the victory (and again, for the record, he definitely wins, not trying to suggest otherwise).

HAtton Pendleton......... but Pendleton made a lot of it.

The best body shots are where the guy just GOES DOWN, zero dramatics.........

I know Julio Cesar Chavez must have scored a fair few stoppages with bodyshots but I just can't think of which ones at the moment...

I think he fought a guy called Negron and he took him out with a left hook to the head but the guy was basically cut in half by the left downstairs. I think he was going OUT from that.

GGG vs Macklin worth a mention too
