I agree. AJ blows. I love how after Ruiz beats his ass, all of a sudden Ruiz is some special talent. "Ohhhh look at the combinations! Andy is soooo talented." Nahhh, that fat piece of shit is trash too. That's why his fat ass could BARELY get by a shot to pieces Arreola. Explain that! Would Mike Spinks struggle with an ancient Arreola??? Michael Spinks would clown these fuckin bums. He gets KO'd by one of the best heavyweights who ever lived, and all of sudden any and every heavyweight in history could do the same...
100% right. A lot of AJ assclowns were trying to hype Andy Ruiz as some kind of talent after his upset of Joshua, while in fact, he's probably a good notch below a prime Arreola, who wasn't much either. Furthermore, he's not much bigger than hw Spinks, just lazy and fat.
Vitali is my favourite heavyweight of recent times. I wish Joshua would have fought him, he would have got schooled. Iron chin, wear you down sort of power, not pure KO power, but enough that he hurt you. He didn't look very skilled initially and was awkward, but he used his size well, had good ring generalship, and used the jab, left hook, right hand very well and that's all he needed. He barely lost a round in his whole career, and he was damn old and slow by the end of it, but still winning easily.
What I love about this forum is that there is genuine boxing knowledge in it. This was no AJ love-in board. Before the fight, several posters made it clear that Usyk had a chance, and explained how and why that might happen. It happened. And several posters on this board explained it in advance. MTF
Lennox Lewis, fat, old, and unmotivated, broke his face into pieces. But yeah, Vitali would have broken these clowns to pieces. There are levels. Lennox is like here, then Vitali isn't far below, then you have these balloons who can't back up except in a straight line or avoid a straight left because it confuses their feet. MTF
It would be good and entertaining until AJ got put into his shell. He'd keep away then and probably drop a very wide 12 round loss having been staggered 3 or 4 times after enjoying a competitive opening 3 or 4 rounds. I don't think Vitali stops him unless AJ really brought it, like Danny Williams tried to, which he won't, we know this now. Vitali would be happy to just keep his hands moving, picking big shots. If the Vitali that beat Hyde and the AJ that beat Wlad faced off, that's how it would go, IMO.
I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of sordid stories come out about how AJ has been looked after, how he's been handled and managed. I can see a kiss and tell book in a few years time and I bet Fast Eddie has a more than passing role in the events chronicled therein. The Ruiz fight, Saudi Arabia, steroids, women, not being ready, being ill, etc. Shit like that. I bet Hearn goes around belittling Joshua behind his back. I think that guys more than just a wide boy. He's not just a chancer. Summink sinister about him. Just a few examples.... After the Ruiz loss Hearn was out in the corridors doing interviews immediately after the fight. All smiles. Last night, he said that AJ was not right in the head when he said he was getting back in the gym on Monday. I don't disagree. But Hearn didn't have to run outside and tell everyone. All of it. Its all going to come out.
I missed this last night. AJ dropped a stone, fatty stuck on two more, AJ ran and potshotted and fatty plodded after him. "Vintage" cried the usual morons.
I agree now. At the time it seemed Usyk had tired.....Joshua landed that big right hand to the body and Usyk had to hold on. The bell rang... AJ never followed it up.
I hope nobody here thinks I thought Ruiz was special. He was especially fat, maybe. Can't even KO his own trainer.
I'm not saying that Spinks loses to Joshua cos he shit the bed against Tyson. I am saying Spinks could lose to Joshua because Joshua WON'T shit the bed against Spinks like he did against Usyk. And don't worry about anything being said here by people like us, there are PAID journalists out there, people on £400,£500 an article who are desperately trying to cover their arses right now. Have a laugh at this fucking shit, for example:- Gotta love it. Dude knew all along. As for his betting slip, the dog ate it, otherwise he'd be able to show you his mad winnings.
sit down mate. delusional........totally delusional. I am telling you...... people are putting words in this lads head. Hearn tells him to say this shit, and then comes out and tries to play the part of reasonable Steady Eddie by saying something to the contrary. The proof of Hearns mendacity and the extent of his involvement is evident in this very next paragraph....... "Here, AJ, go and tell them that you are ready for the rematch cos you just done 12 rounds no problems, go on tell them........" 5 minutes later "AJ is not ready for a rematch, which needs to be in a UK Stadium, ASAP". FUCKING LITTLE CUNT
Spinks beats a 35 year old Larry Holmes who was still good enough to beat Mercer 6 years later, and he's written off. AJ goes life and death with a 40-year-old Wald in Wald's last fight and its "Spinks has no chance." Make it make sense. AJ is basura.
I wasn't accusing you. I think you generally get the gist that AJ is a scrub who was lucky to catch Klit in his swan song.
Nobody was calling Ruiz talented though. He had already been beaten by Joseph Parker. Everyone was (rightfully) mocking Joshua after that loss, not praising Ruiz. I believe Joshua demonstrated in the rematch, and with his other results (Povetkin, Wlad etc), that he is better than he appeared when lost to Ruiz. We don't judge anybody based on their career-worst performance. Here, he got beaten clearly, but it was 8-4 type of loss against a very skillful fighter. It doesn't translate to him getting beaten by any Jose Ribalta in the history
Quite often Usyk misses that arcing 'jab' deliberately- it goes over joshua's lead, falls on his right bringing his guard down for the straight left. He did it over and over, very nifty....a kind of longer range and more dynamic/subtle version of Lomas trick
Joshua needs a new trainer, bad. Somebody to teach him how to move right/counter clockwise, for chrissakes.... itd be a start
That's cool, I got the Usyk call badly wrong albeit I DID give him a 1 in 5 chance of winning. My overall assessment of AJ was that he was just not right. "greatest night in British Boxing History".....
Wlad used to use his left to slap the other guys hand down as he'd fire the right. Clever bozos this lot. Oh and McCracken does indeed suck ass. Badly.
Imagine relying on that guy for testimony in court... "And tell the Court please, Mr Whyte, what did the accused do next...." "I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Weird. Weird. Weird. Proper fucking weirdo."
You remember he fought Keith Holmes at Wembley, hurt him with a massive right and then did fuck all He's imparted said wisdom to AJ
Aye the first thing i said when we put the broadcast on was: 'fucksake, they're paying dillian whyte.....to talk! Thats like paying the guy from my left foot to dance'. Albeit, the guy is consistently funny.... constantly looks like he's solving long division while simultaneously keeping edgy for the cops
Whyte has a better chance vs Usyk than Dubois or Joyce. He's got a shuck and jive style, he's unorthodox, a bit wild and a bit Mayorga, basically. He won't just stand there trying to figure things out. He's absolutely a bigger hitter than Usyk and I think he's as big a hitter as Joshua. Joshua was knocking guys over when they were worn down or had less than stellar chins. Whyte came in fat and dopey and nearly had AJ out in the 2nd round. I don't think that version of AJ exist anymore, besides, even if he did, Usyk ain't it. So for me Whyte vs Usyk is way more intriguing than anybody else bar the winner of Fury vs Usyk. Dubois is still on the bum tour following his quit job vs Joyce and Usyk already basically beat Joyce.
