That's why I fancy him to do a better job vs Usyk. He's fucking nutty. He'll absolutely accept a 50-50 hell for leather approach and he will throw hands. Usyk will have to fight him. He's not just going to stand there pondering the mystery and magic of southpaws like Joshua did.
Not for my money. Lennox is an undisputed ATG. Vitali is borderline, at best. A very good fighter and a largely dominant champion, but he's not in that ATG class IMO. MTF
While I think that is true, it is worth remembering one very important fact: Dillion Whyte is not very good. MTF
Mayorga wasn't as good as Mosley. But he beat the tar out of the guy who beat Mosley twice. At heavyweight, I think we do eventually reach a stage where the sheer size, power and mentality of a fighter makes up for a lot of the talent disparity. Not only is this the case regards heavyweights vs non heavyweights, its the case between different heavyweights per se. Its the only division really where a chin, a right hand and a kamikaze approach can get you anywhere. A heavyweight Michael Katsudis will beat better fighters than a featherweight Michael Katsidis. Whyte is not very good but his losses have been to AJ in a war and Povetkin, which he was dominating before he ate an absolute WORLDLY. He avenged it in due course. Put Curious Joe Parker on the mat which AJ and Ruiz either couldn't or wouldn't do. Couldn't in Ruiz case. Yes Parker dropped him late but that can be spun into an argument that he can take a shot, too. Not saying he's all that but he's a more likely contender right now than James Joyce or WEB Dubois.
Probably manufactured. He was on QOS last nigh crying about how when he goes to his mams "For a bitta lunch, innit", she's always upset about the stick her Neddy takes from these bad people at Neddys fights.
I am presuming SKY had the rights to show this in the UK and because the fight didn't go their way, they took their sweet time uploading it. Anyways, it is up today. In full. On mature recollection {in other words after I watched it for a 2nd time} it's clear that Joshua doesn't do that badly, he actually lands some well executed stuff. There just wasn't enough of it and that was down to Usyk. He simply didn't make many mistakes and crucially didn't repeat them when he did. He got on his bike when he got dazed. Joshua tried to outbox the guy and failed. Usyk won rather than AJ lost. It's only the 10th, 11th and 12th where Usyk REALLY stamps his authority. I think by then he had pecked and moved AJ to a state of such tiredness that he could really open up with efficacy. Again that's a feather in Usyks hat. He really managed that fight to perfection. Another thing:- as Feebles alluded to, some MORON is roaring "Brilliant AJ, brilliant".......they were telling him his failed outboxing effort was working. That's bad advice, simple as. Finally.........Usyk went out and bossed the final round. If he had not, that fight would have ended 114-114 on Howard Fosters card, a totally batshit result.
Yeah I suppose. There used to be some fella who would go around posting comments under their videos saying things like "BT would have uploaded this before it happened" and stuff like this. BT started it, SKY were forced to play along. Amazing what a sick burn or two in the comments section can do to a company.
