fury has figured out how to smother and overwhelm his smaller opponents. if he found himself getting outboxed by usyk, it is hard to imagine he wouldn't push usyk back and exhaust him the way he did wilder. maybe usyk's better footwork prevents it but with his height and reach advantage seems like fury could still have success bullying usyk.
If usyk manage to do so, the whole narrative about superhw dominating the sport cause of their size goes down the drain. While usyk is not small by any stretch of the imagination, he's far from a monster either
Fury hit Wilder a lot too. I couldn't count too many instances of him doing the Wlad/Lewis "Lean" Copyright@Manny Steward. He bulled him and hit him.
I think Usyk already did that to an extent against Joshua. Practically nobody gave him a legit shot, based purely on his size..
I think Fury is on the slide and seems nowhere near as elusive as he used to be. AJ and Usyk are both very live against him IMO.
Fury could be on his death bed and fuck up AJ's bum ass. How in the world is AJ gonna beat Fury? The man is garbage.
It could be and it could also be that the guy had covid, 2 years out, came in heavy, had a wack game plan to go and wreck his man.
REED Thinks Fury's Weight in the Last 2 Fights was STRATEGIC...He Knew Wilder Had PIPE CLEANER Legs Ill Equipped to Sustain the Mauling/Leaning/Head Locks... & Fury was CORRECT... REED Would Expect Fury to Be Strategically LIGHTER vs Usyk; 255-260ish...The Wlad Klit Days (247) are OVER, but Fury Can Still Be LIGHTER If/When he Needs to Be... REED
Its possible and makes sense. I think Wilders camp was waiting until the opportune time to exercise the rematch clause. After it expired actually, I think. But they waited until dude got outta shape and it wasn't hard to find that out For the rematch there was no question that was the plan from hill This time he was heavier but far from in the same type of condition as for the last fight If he's able to impose his size and wear usyk down leaning on him and in clinches he can win but I think he gets out maneuvered
Fury knows how to land after he misses. Joshua didn't. And Fury can change stance to do it, without walking onto something.
