Kyrie is an Irritating, Arrogant Blowhard...Specializes in VAGUE Social Justice Commentary and SNOBBISH Treatment of the Media... Per Reports, Kyrie ISN'T Against Being Vaccinated @ All, But Instead is Compelled to NOT Get Vaxxed to Be a "Voice for the Voiceless"...Mind You, In His Last On-Camera Interview, Motherfucker Repeatedly Begged for His "Privacy" to Be Respected, Like it was a Fucking 5th Amendment Right, When Asked His Vax Status... A "Voice for the Voiceless" that NEVER Answers a Tough/Relevant Question???...And if he Does, it's Some Pretentiously Wordy Bullshit That Predictably AVOIDS the Question Posed???....Uses the Word "Principles" Yet NEVER Elaborates on His...EVER... The Thing Is, There's ALWAYS Something w/Kyrie...ALWAYS...Phenomenal Basketball Player, but Fact of the Matter Is He's Been a SHITTY ASS Teammate Every Place He's Been...He's a Narcissistic Attention Whore... Fuck That Dude... REED
I agree with all this. Kyrie is so annoying I find him on the same level as Kanye. They’re damn near the same person. I can’t stand Kyrie to the point I want him to miss every shot, every layup and when his team missed the final’s I was glad. All that said, I absolutely stood with Kyrie when he chose not to get vaccinated…right up until the moment he said he was doing it for the workers. Personally I believe that was a bullshit excuse he came up with. I do believe him when he says he isn’t antivax but I also believe the real reason he’s abstaining is because he’s worried about potential side effects from getting the shot which I can relate to. Whatever his true reasoning is he’ll get no criticisms from me for not getting vaccinated, just for all the other stupid shit he does/says.
Never Thought About it Until You Mentioned it, But Yeah, There ARE Similarities btwn Kyrie and Kanye... Both EXCELLENT Practitioners of their Chosen Crafts, EXAGGERATED Sense of Self/How "Valuable" Their "Wisdom" is to Mankind and a Propensity to Be GENERIC/VAGUE AF, When Asked for Details or Bullet Points of Their "Principles"... 2 Bullshit Artists, in Other Words... & w/That Said, REED Doesn't Begrudge ANYONE That Doesn't Want to Be Vaxxed...Cool, Whatever...But as it Pertains to Kyrie, REED FULLY Believes Dude's Just Taking this Stance to Be DIFFICULT...For the ATTENTION He Knows it Brings... Like Kanye, Kyrie is a BITCH Like That... REED
I think Howard was a good omission. He was very good but only for a few seasons and pretty much all of it in Orlando. He actually proved to be a pretty limited offensive player and never improved one iota in that department.
While You're Not INCORRECT Necessarily, There's MORE Than Meets the Eye w/Dwight Howard, Bruh... 3x Defensive Player of the Year, 5x Rebounds Leader, 2x Blocks Leader, GOOD for 20 and 13 On Damn Near 60% Shooting While in Orlando...He was THE Best Big in the League for 8-10 Years and Took a SHITTY Ass Orlando Team to the NBA Finals...Only the 1st Cleveland Team Bron Dragged Into the Finals was WORSE, from Recent Memory... Yes, Dwight was FAKE AF & Probably THE Most Unlikable Player of His Era, But REED Thinks He was More Deserving than AD of Top 75 Consideration, for Certain... REED
It's laughable that Melo made the 75 over McGrady. I dont give a shit about longevity, Mac at his peak was one the best perimeter players OAT. Melo can't touch McGrady's peak. Neither can Pierce. If you asked somebody in 2002 is Paul Pierce better than Tracy McGrady, you'd get laughed at.
Don't have to like the man but he was unquestionably THE center for years. He never leaves Orlando in that fashion and he's looked at quite differently. Probably the most egregious of the omissions but not the only one.
Tmac is brutally underrated. I'm not sure why. For a long time, he was one of the best scorers in the league. It's not like he had a Penny Hardaway style injury and we missed his prime. We saw peak Tmac and he was among the best in the league. I'd take peak Tmac everyday over Melo and I like Melo.
Peak T-Mac was on par with Kobe. Melo was never on par with Kobe a day in his life. Melo is the same tier as Pierce, which isn't a bad tier at all.. they were both fucking good as Hell. I put Carter in that tier as well, but honestly, 2001 Vince was better than any version of Melo or Pierce. But McGrady was unquestionably a higher tier - he was in the Kobe/Wade/Drexler tier.
I’d take T-Mac, Wade and Pierce over Kobe who in all honesty was an overrated gunner that never would have won a ring without Shaq and Gasol. Vince is the only one I wouldn’t take over Kobe because at least Kobe had a world class work ethic while Vince seemed to mostly just live off his talent. That’s why most people recognize that Pierce was better than Carter who had a disappointing career for the level of talent he was. Vince should have easily owned the league when MJ left but he just didn’t have the work ethic. Now, I want all the smoke.
Pierce over Kobe???? Yeaahhh, I gotta go... That's just Bryant hater crazy talk. Paul Pierce couldn't shave Kobe's balls. Pierce is honestly one of the most overrated players in league history.
If you swap out Kobe for Pierce on the early 00s Lakers, and they never 3-peat. They probably still win in 2000, because of how ridiculously good Shaq was that year, but theres no way they win 3 in a row. Paul Pierce plain and simple could not a destroy a defense the way Kobe could (see 01 WCF), and Pierce was a VASTLY inferior defender. Pierce aint carrying them to rings in 09 & 10 either. He plain and simple was not good enough. Taking Pierce over Kobe is the dumbest shit I've ever heard in my life. Pierce was no better than Melo. He simply got blessed with Ray and KG. The fact that Pierce is often mentioned with Kobe and Wade makes him absurdly overrated. He wasn't that level... at all!
No. EDIT - This actually reads alot like some of the things I see from today's analytics kids when they talk about Iverson.
carter much like anthony caught work ethic like the covid once he realized he could collect more checks. imagine if either of them showed the type of commitment to their body in their prime as they did late in their careers i think there are several players throughout time and a few from his era who you could replace bryant with that would win multiple chips with that laker team in 2000
I will agree over your Vince call. Pretty clear we never saw Vince at the best he could have been. Being fair to him he was very injury prone early on.
